COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

500 ml can. From Schaan, Liechtenstein.
Clear pale golden colour with small white head. Sweetish soda-like lagery aroma. Very grainy malty flavour with soda-like sweetness and tiny hints of hops. Nothing interesting in this Swiss brew.

Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20100220]

Can. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, leading to a dry strawy finish.

Can, 4.8%. Grainy aroma. Clear golden colour. Small stable white head. The flavour is not as grainy as the aroma. A bit watery. Just another pale lager.

[tap on Muottas Muragl in St. Moritz] Dusty, weak noble hops aroma that is crisp but with no malt character. Clear gold and very effervescent (probably due to the high altitude) with a rocky, lasting head. Dry, crisp, from bitterness, flavour with moderate noble hops and no malt. Boring. Light body, elevated carbonation, moderate bitter finish that is somewhat oniony.

Draught in Luzern. Clean pale gold lager. Quite easy going, probably a bit more bitter than most and cleaner on the finish, but unremarkable otherwise.

Bottle. I have never rated a beer in this altitude before (3112 m), so here we go. Pale golden body. Huge fluffy white head. Light malty aroma. Light sweet and fresh hoppy flavour. Tiny tiny hints of soap. Watery and bitter finish. Easy drinking beer after "climbing" 3000 metres. (The restaurant at Gornergrat, 30.09.09)
