Bottle:   Amberish pour, a little dirty, head is lacing and sudsy, little lacing.   Fresh and earthy green peppers on the nose.   A bit mild on the tongue, peppery, not too hot, but all of a sudden it hits the back of the throat.   It seems to build over time, continually having to clear my throat.   Softer than the Six Rivers I had before this, but still seems a bit of a novelty item.   Moderate body and mouthfeel, leaning towards the thin side.   They need to pick a heavier beer and throw only a little pepper at it... but these spiced beers that seem to be just peppers, tough to finish.   Another drain pour.   Its not bad, I just can’t deal with drinking liquid peppers.
2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20 Nikiel (714) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 3, 2012
Bottle with Carla. Pours light and lagery. Smells acidic and spicy. Tastes of jalapenos with the consistancy of a light lager. Just a touch spicier than I’d like and tastes and feels like heartburn and other terrible bodily functions.

Bottle. Relatively still copper beer. Aroma is amber ale and a sweet chili scent. Flavour is a straight forward amber beer with huge chili notes that build in intensity in the finish and aftertaste. The flavour is much better if drunk with food. For what was intended I could not suggest an improvement.

Dark orange with a little haze. Minimal head that disappears quickly. Wow! Big-time fresh pepper nose. Loads and loads of peppers and not much else. Very spicy hot flavor that burns on and on. Pretty crazy, and doesnt resemble any beer style i’ve ever tried.

Super duper spicy. A golden ale with a hell of a bite. Almost hard to drink because it is kind of unsettling. Probably good with spicier food as a compliment.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Beardface (1497) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - MAR 25, 2009
Tap at KLCC microbrew fest. This beer is pretty much exactly what you’d guess from the name. It smells like chili and it tastes like chili powder with a very unpleasant mouthfeel and burn. Not so high on this one.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Angeloregon (2054) - Portland, Oregon, USA - AUG 16, 2008
Sampled at Calapooia in Albany, OR--Poured a hazy golden-straw body with a medium fluffy white head. Mad chili nose featuring a variety of spicy chili notes and some malt graininess. Flavor was sharp and spicy from the get-go. Fiery burn down the gullet and lingering pepper heat down the back of the throat. Very peppery even for a pepper beer. Not a beer I could sit and drink a lot of, but very interesting and would probably be a great beer to cook with.

Draft @ KLCC Microbrew Festival: Pours an unassuming clear copper with a small head. Nose is full of spicey, peppery aromas. Ahhh, then the taste. A wonderful blend of the aforementioned peppers followed by immediate heartburn. I wanted to try this just to say that I did and well, I did.
