COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Kringle Krack Strong Winter Ale is characterized by its huge malt profile that is blended with three different Northwest hops. This big, dark ale is aged eight months for a smooth, balanced finish. This beer is perfect for those cold winter nights sitting by the fire. Kris Kringle approved!

This was on tap at Belmont; the ’08 BOURBON-BARREL version. Reminded me of HotD Adam, though just a couple notches below that level of perfection. Awesome appearance.

2008 vintage on tap at belmont Station. Colour... about as dark as an irish stout with a very thick tan head. Nose... spicy, sweet malt, dark fruitcake (I mean that in a good way!). Palate... gently carbonated, gently sweet, moderately coating, lots of toffee and burnt sugar with a hint of maraschino and oak.

On tap at the 2007 Holiday Ale Festival. Dark amber with a small beige head. Very nice display of hops and malt, no excess alochol present. Toasted earthy malt flavor up front, caramel, and almost fig sweet flavor. Hops were there, but not enough to balance, but this style is usually pretty sweet, good warming winter brew.

Holiday Ale Fest 2007--Poured a deep coal amber hue with a medium off-white head. RIch, earthy nose and malty presence. Hoppy, fruity, piny finish is mildly cloying. Biting, rich and creamy finish.
