Nose is big and malty with lots of darker fruity notes, raisins, caramel, toffee, light estery notes. Pours hazy amber/brown with nice head retention. Big malt up front - raisins, toffee, darker fruits, residual sugar, earthy bitterness rounds out the finish and adds balance. Pretty nice, was going to get a growler, but the simcoe IPA was too good to pass up.
