Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma mild milk chocolate roast. Light-medium body, light, clean malt sweetness, and a touch of chocolaty-coffee flavor, hints of nut, coupled with a milky malt body and some flavor. Light on hops. Good, but not great, especially for the style.

A really good porter because of its uniqueness. The body is weaker than most, with only a little bit of maltiness roasted or otherwise. But makes up with an evervescent quailty, lambic esque carbonation that pops.

Aroma Dark malt with toffee and chocolate aromas.
Appearance Dark Brown in color, Thin head and clear.
Flavor Very nice porter flavor. The dark roasty malts where very nice and very fresh with this beer.
Palate Nice Mouthfeel, good texture with a dry finish.
Overall One of the best beers for the day at Calapooia Brewing.

on tap-pours a light brown head that laces and black color with red tint. Aroma is dark malt some molasses. Taste is dark malt-some molasses/caramel, faint hops with slight bite. OK carbonation.
