A very drinkable and solid NW IPA. This brewery continues to improve!
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 chicowv (446) - Canaan Valley, West Virginia, USA - FEB 23, 2013
Sample tasting at the brewery: Pours a clear yellow with a light head. Aroma is sour, piney and hoppy. Taste is piney, citrus but good malt balance. Bitter but smooth going down and rather complex. Great IPA.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 bu11zeye (11111) - Frisco (Dallas), Texas, USA - JUL 27, 2012
(22oz bottle) Pours a clear golden body with a medium off-white head. Aroma of caramel, orange, pineapple, and herbs. Flavor of herbs, grass, citrus, caramel, pine, and earth with a dry, bitter finish.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 5000 (4974) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - JUN 19, 2012
Bottle:   Hazy amber, on the orange side, large rocky off-white head, nice lacing.   A bit of a strong powdery sugary hop fest up front, on the tongue.   Nose is the same, a fake powdery sugary sort of hop nose.   Certainly hoppy without being too biting, but the sweetness is very artificial.   Reminds me of the pixie stix sort of powdery aroma, but add some hops.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Tiz okay, but the malt sweetness just doesn’t work for me.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Shink (177) - Portland, Oregon, USA - MAY 16, 2012
Pours a crisp copper with a lingering foamy head. Strong hop smell with a moderately hoppy taste. Not too heavy for an IPA. Great all-around beer.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 bhensonb (8991) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 9, 2012
Bomber from "Made in Oregon". Pours hazy copper with a creamy white head. Undernote of roasted caramel, but the main play is a crazy conglomeration of hop aroma. Light pitted fruit, citrus and resin - at least. Med body or better. Flavor is a bit caramel, but there’s still a lot of pitted fruit, citrus, resin and I’m thinking floral. It’s very hoppy, tho not harshly bitter, and it’s just on the dry and bitter side. Needs imperialization.

Bottle. Dark amber with a big head. Light fishy hop aroma. Big weird fruit hop flavour. Kiwi and grapefruit?

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 cmonster (897) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JAN 8, 2012
Bomber served in a tulip. Slightly hazy dark orange with a large head. Excellent retention and substantial lacing. Stinky, grassy, and floral hop nose. Bitter palate. Medium body, sticky, resiny texture, and an oily, bitter finish.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Reid (1602) - Salem,Oregon, Oregon, USA - JAN 6, 2012
22 oz botttle from "Lifesource", salem. $4.95
Hazy orange beer with a huge rocky, cloudlike eggshell white head.
Aroma a bit subdued but mostly resiny hop.
Taste is again mostly resiny hop with a nice toasted malt back..simple yet quite elegant.
Nice on the palate, liked the mellow ,long bitter aftertaste.
An OK PNW IPA
