3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Angeloregon (2054) - Portland, Oregon, USA - DEC 23, 2007
On tap at Calapooia in Albany, Oregon--Poured a orange-sienna body with a wispy, beige, filmy head. Nose of fruity, citrusy grapefruit hops and sticky malts. Grainy and spicy. Big earthy, piny, resinous finish. Yum!
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 boFNjackson (2933) - Portland, Oregon, USA - OCT 30, 2007
Tap... Poured an unfiltered burnt orange with a thin white head. I typically like the look of unfiltered beers, but the head diminished so quickly to nothing I had to rate its appearance lower. Sharp, hop and grain aroma. Great texture in the mouth and a punch of hops with a very earthy/piney presence. Tasted great.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - OCT 8, 2007
On tap at the brewpub. I think it might just be me, but Chinook hops smell like cat pee, and this was loaded with them. Pours light orange with a soft white head. Heavy citrus grapefruit hop flavor finishing more towards the pine side. I liked the flavor of the IPA, but the chinook aroma just bugs me.
3.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 thedm (4125) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - AUG 6, 2007
This draft brew from the Oregon Brewers festival poured a small sized head of medium sized brown colored bubbles that were mostly diminishing and left behind a transparent softly carbonated orange brown colored body. The aroma was malty musty and dirty sock. The Mouth feel was crisp and clean with a lingering piney hoppy aftertaste. The flavor contained notes of piney hops. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

Amber with not much head - bad pour at the Oregon Brewers Festival. Bread and pine and a little citrus. Medium body with a creamy texture and an astrigent finish. Nice beer with good balance, very drinkable.
