COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

Near black with a thin khaki head that faded quickly. Strong berry, licorice, dark chocolate aroma. Taste was strong bitter dark chocolate, bitter black coffee, sweet dark fruits, and licorice. Tannic dry finish with an oily texture.

Bottle thanks to Josh. Pours a deep black color with a medium head. Nose of cocoa powder, richer malts, some pepper. Palate is soft, rich with flavors of green pepper, chocolate, peppercorn, and fudge. Medium pleasant finish.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Alexey’s place. Thanks Alexey. Black with a foamy tan head. Dried figs and some coconut aroma, smooth, cocoa nibs in the mouth. Quite fizzy, full body, slightly roasty, with a long, woodsy finish.
