Can @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus. Hazy orange - copper color, medium sized white to off-white head. Aroma is quite hoppy, decently malty, not much more. Taste malts, again quite nicely hoppy, slightly fruity, lightly bitter. Decent body, medium carbonation. Nice.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a slight clear amber color with a slight transparency about it. One finger white foamy head dissipated within less than about forty seconds. Light lacing trickles into its body.
The smell was a sweet caramel malt with a slight crisp citrus hops underneath.
The taste was balanced between the sweet malts and the bitter citrus hops.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a slight sessionability about it. Carbonation seemed decent for the style and for me.
Overall, I say this was a decent Amber ale I could go at again.

Lacking some bite in my opinion, but very smooth and drinkable. A bit more hops would be nice.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a thin head on a clear straw colored body.
The aroma is faint caramel, with lemon, pine and cinnamon bring up the rear.
The taste has a mild sweetness that rolls into a mild lemon bitter finish. Great balance.
The texture is soft with moderate carbonation.
Good flavor and drinkability.

(Caldera Ashland Amber Ale) Can 355 ml at home, into a tulip, ABV 5.6%
More like dark orange in colour than amber on the body, two fingers of off-white head with good density, good retention too, leavinf medium lacing on the glass.
Malty aroma, caramel, grass, but also hops and fruity notes.
Mildly sweet taste, with malts, caramel, soap, grass, light citrus, hops. Bitter finish and aftertaste.
Medium body, lively carbonation.
Quite good, nice thirst-quencher.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can from Joni’s. Pretty decent for an amber. Pours rich amber color with a generous, yet uneven white head. Malt and sweetness upfront (amber) with a decent amount of hops in the finish (oregon). Grapefruit. pine, floral, and some resin notes. Pretty crisp. Light-ish body. Very enjoyable summer amber.
