Pleasant aroma with a decent amount of hops and sweet malt. Very refreshing brew. Light but great toasty malt flavors with a great bitter hop finish. This is an extremely easy drinking beer for those Quantity>Quality days or for someone looking for a lower ABV (Im a lightweight so I enjoy finding good lower alcohol beers.). Will be staying stocked up on this.

this is a good to great Amber. I am not a big fan of the Amber style, but this one encompases it well (9.5 in category). There is a good delicate balance of malts and hops- with some bitterness. (8 BD 7-23-12) 3.5 Patrice

Tap at the tap house. Pours red with a creamy beige head. Aroma is resin. Med body. Flavor is floral/resin. It’s very hoppy and finishes that way. Earlier Rating: 8/27/2009 Total Score: 3.4 Can from Liquid Solutions. Pours very dark copper amber with a respectible beige head. Aroma of rather roasted caramel accompanied by floral hop. Near medium body with almost creamy carbonation. The roast malt has a harsh note, like so many browns, and the hop bitter is firm, seemingly more complex than indicated. For me it’s floral, citrus, spice, and a touch of resin. Maybe this beer is complex? Who’d have thought. Drinks really well.

26th January 2010 Clear amber beer. Very light toffee malt nose. Crispy semi dry palate. Toffee malt start, balanced with a little bit of soft hops. A little bit of metallic tang but otherwise an okay amber.

Clear medium amber with a thick head and solid lace. Odor of piney hops. Caramel malt leads the taste, but has to share with pine hops well before the finish. Typical American hopped amber, which doesn’t mean it isn’t good, simply that it doesn’t stand out from the crowd. It helps that my taste for hops has grown to the point that I expect some strong bittering in a good recipe. This one works.
