3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
A very solid amber! It has a nice and somewhat sweet malty aroma. The pour is dark copper with a thin white head that leaves spotty lacing. The taste is primarily malt with just the slightest hint of some bitterness. Clean and crisp. Drinkable but not spectacular.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
6/03/2010: Caldera Ashland Amber Ale... Aroma: Earthy hoppiness; hint of fresh fruits; caramelized malts. Appearance: Deep honey to amber in color; darker beige head; hazy; minimal carbonation. Flavor: Toasted malts with a touch of toffee; floral (rose water?) and earthy; mild/gentle bitterness (isnít enough to really let on that itís even there). Palate: Medium-bodied; smooth; average. Overall: Decent amber ale, but not worth the $2.75/can!.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
355 mL can at Finbarís in Delaware. Foamed a bit when it opened, but not much head. Hazy amber. Mild floral-citrus aroma. More mild citrus in the flavour. Not much malt, though. Mild sweetness. Not bad. Smaller than some American ambers, but very drinkable.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can from Brusin ales thatís been aging in the fridge for a couple years - clear amber with a thin white head, grassy nuttiness on the nose. Taste is a tad bitter with some drying action on the palate. Iím getting a bit of the slickness that others reported, but I probably wouldnít have noticed it had I not read the other reviews. Overall, boring, but not bad.
