Great foam, great color, spicy/slighty floral after taste. The mid and after taste is strong while the front is smooth. A perfect beer if I ever tasted one.

Crisp cascade hop flavor is perfectly balanced with soft malt sweetness. Not overly malty like many northwest ambers.

On tap at hot mama’s in Eugene Oregon. Appearance is of the standard affair. Nothing too outstanding here but quite beautiful nonetheless. The taste is quite impressive. Kind of has a nutty almost hemp-like backbone with a floral background and an earthy "smell of autumn" crispness. Pretty complex for an Amber. Easy to drink and super pleasant mouth feel. Ambers are one of my least favorite styles but I’d get this one again. Comparable to African Amber by Mac and Jacks.

Smell is nice very fresh cascade hops, sweet caramel smelling malt. Nice head, medium retention, very creamy. Taste is well balanced with sweet malt and hops, there are some dusty flavors in there which give it some depth. Very well balanced and quite surprising for such a simple recipe. Well Done. This style of beer will always score well with me. Drinkability 4/5.

UPDATED: JUN 22, 2009 PINT - Dublin’s Pub, Beaverton, OR. A really great amber ale - malty and sweet. A simple blend of natural, simple flavors - in the same vein as Mac and Jacks African Amber, just missing something - Very enjoyable

Can. Pours a deep dark copper amber color. Rich in appearance for an amber. Absolutely loved the nose of this beer. It had a lot going on. There was certainly a malt presence with notes of caramel, toffee, and toast, but it was light and pleasant. Hop presence was more earthy than I usually get. Blended in really well. Great presence of dried fruits, raisins, apricots, nuts, trail mix. Soft and subtle at times, but bold in the right areas. Best amber that I’ve had in awhile.

From a can pours a translucent deeper amber with a smaller bubbly off white head. Aroma of caramel and lightly toasted malt along with floral and citrus hops. Flavor of the same nice caramel and toasted malt, some nuts and the same floral and citrus hops. Bitterness very appropriate. Excellent Amercan Amber. Excited to see this one in PA

Can. Dark amber with an attractive head. More woody hops than normal obnoxious amber scent. Soft velvet sweet woody malt and enjoyable vanilla taste. I could drink a few of these.

Nice amber orange color. This is pretty good. Quite a bit of hops for an amber. Malts are fairly consistent throughout. Proof that canned beer can be good.
