3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can. The pour was a cloudy medium orange with a slight pink hue and an average sized (1-2 finger) off white frothy head that receded slowly, down to a thin cap with a large collar creating some good streaky lacing.
The aroma was moderately heavy of a biscuit malt, floral and cascade hops and an earthy yeast with notes of caramel, citrus (grapefruit) and a mild fruity ester (apple).
The taste was lightly malty sweet with a hint of caramel from the onset, becoming a light bitter sweet with a nice touch of hops and citrus towards the end. The flavor was somewhat short in duration with a light sweet grapefruit flavor left behind.
Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a light to medium carbonation.
Overall a tasty Amber Ale that was lightly fruity sweet with a nice hoppy feel and a great drinkability...

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can, 0.355l, shared with Bojan. Pours cloudy amber orange color with thin creamy off-white head and nice lacing. Aroma is grassy, floral and malty. Taste starts by moderate sweet caramel, follows grassy and mild citric, while finish is medium bitter. Medium body, oily texture and lively carbonation in palate. Easy going beer, but misses a final touch...

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can from Ezo beer, served in a pint glass it pours a clear Amber with a beige head. The nose is a solid green piney hops, much more enticing than your average Amber. Medium bodied with a raspy carbonation. The taste is very nice - malts and toasted cacao with a bitter dose of hops. Simple but yum.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Dark golden, hazy, small to average and mostly diminishing head. Moderate malty and lightly sweetish aroma, some caramel and light bread with light floral fruitiness, light citrus hoppyness. Body is medium, malty and lightly sweetish, some caramel and light floral fruitiness with light citrus/herbal hoppyness. Finish is average, malty and lightly sweetish, light - some caramel and light bread, faint floral fruitiness, light - some citrus/herbal hoppyness. Not overly too sweet - could use more bitterness to balance caramel and bread. Nothing special though.

3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Amber bodied and large head. Very drinkable body, very clean fermentation, toasty aromas and biscuit. Decent stuff but a bit too dry perhaps for the malt base. Resin and pine hops, but not quite enough for my taste. Does have a good bitterness level. (33cl can from Beer City)

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at the Caldera Taproom, Ashland, OR.
Clear amber colour with a small white head.
Sugary sweetness, malt and mild hops in the aroma. No surprises here. The flavour is dryish hops, sweet caramel malt and some mild bitterness. Maybe not as sweet as I expected.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours clear pale amber with two fingers of light tan head diminishing gradually to a thin cap, moderate lacing. (4/5) Nose is caramel malt, hoppy citrus, light toast. (7/10) Taste is mild sweet, moderate bitter. (7/10) Medium body, moderate carbonation, lingering bitter finish. (3/5)
A pretty good amber. Decently hoppy, but in a supporting role that doesn’t turn it into a brown IPA - it doesn’t lose the malt-forward character that you’d expect for an amber, but instead builds on it. (14/20)
