3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Can. The pour was a cloudy medium orange with a slight pink hue and an average sized (1-2 finger) off white frothy head that receded slowly, down to a thin cap with a large collar creating some good streaky lacing.
The aroma was moderately heavy of a biscuit malt, floral and cascade hops and an earthy yeast with notes of caramel, citrus (grapefruit) and a mild fruity ester (apple).
The taste was lightly malty sweet with a hint of caramel from the onset, becoming a light bitter sweet with a nice touch of hops and citrus towards the end. The flavor was somewhat short in duration with a light sweet grapefruit flavor left behind.
Mouthfeel was light in body and watery in texture with a light to medium carbonation.
Overall a tasty Amber Ale that was lightly fruity sweet with a nice hoppy feel and a great drinkability...

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a copper amber-orange color, with a small, bubbly head, falling to thick lacing immediately.
Smells of caramel malts, wrapping up ripe fruit, topped of by a note of zingy lemon peel. Has a perfumy fruitiness of peach and blood orange, which gets perfectly complimented by the sweet, profound malts. Its real quality is the crisp lemon peel though, hovering above the malty nose, adding a pleasant hop punch to the aromas, which also interacts well with the fruits.
Has a creamy mouthfeel, due to a surprisingly low carbonation, while the beer remains refreshing. It features leafy hops among a distinct maltiness, which results in a versatile taste with a pleasant, lighter body.
Tastes of lemon juice dripping grass, together with a herbal note, which blends together with earthy malts, turning caramel sweet, while the beer develops a biting dryness. Dough bread settles the balance, embracing both hops and malts, creating a great malt defined taste, which lets room for a citrussy hop dryness. During its finish, a bubbly carbonation enhances the hops, while malts produce a great ripened fruit quality, initially picked up on the nose.
This is a textbook example for a well made amber, all ingredients compliment each other perfectly, creating a sappy, but sweet interplay with a great mouthfeel to it.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Really classic amber ale with everything you would expect from it: a bit of caramel and bready malts in the aroma, slightly sweet taste at first with a bit of bread crust and some piney and earthy hops and a bitter aftertaste. Well made, easy to drink and quite tasty.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours nice clear amber, persistent white-beige head that is leaving beautiful lacings. Lots of bubbles and high carbonation. Aroma has a strong malt backbone, malt sweetness, toffee - but feels also nicely fresh. Taste is simple but brilliant - hops are building on the malty and sturdy base, making the beer feel like a small meal. Nicely hoppy small meal. Bit heavy for the abv but overall has nice clean flavours and I quite like it.
