Caldera Cauldron Brew Double Hemp Brown

Draught. Poured red brown with very little head. Aroma was unfamiliar at first and then it struck me, sea water and wet rope. Flavour of syrup and dagga, rather more sweetness than is decent in a beer. Almost syrupy body. More hemp and a tiny bit of malt in the finish. The beer was not as good as my rating, but I give Caldera credit for trying something new.

aroma of malt syrup with some brown sugar and a mile lemon peel tang. dark brown slightly hazy with a quick head. the malt flavor stays clena and not cloying, with enough hops to add a slight sourness. thin in the mouth, and int he finish
