3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 beerinmarch (2830) - USA - JUL 9, 2005
Pours amber with great clarity and a white head. Very hoppy throughout with some juicy citrus hops and a crisp finish. Doesn’t quite have the sweetness that I normally find in an IPA, i would probably think of this more as a hoppy pale.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 skoisirius (1063) - Earth, Washington, USA - JUL 6, 2011
Oranged golden pour. Light effervescent pine notes on the nose. Mild orange zest in their somewhere. Flavor is taken from the nose and blown up. Light sweet malts up front, with a light grapefruited piney hop push in the middle, flavors of orange mixed around in there, and lingering hoppy pine bitterness in the finish. Solid, balanced, and just a bit different than your usual IPA. Good stuff!
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 authenticmead (41) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 10, 2011
On tap at: mainbrew.com
Visual: Pours a bright orange with a creamy white head.
Nose: Nice citrusy hops. Not much else!
Palate: Citrus hops burst out of this one. Smooth dry finish. Not much malt.
Conclusion. A dry finishing easy drinking IPA. It is quite smooth and and all around great easy drinking west coast IPA. This one isn’t over the top big and high alcohol, which I like. You can actually enjoy a fair amount before calling it a night. Recomend.

Draught at Horse Brass. Somewhat orange body and a bit of orange in the taste. But overall, just a solid IPA (though it was listed as a Pale) with very nice flavor. Very enjoyable.

Pours a vivid and remarkable orange shade. Very fruity and a floral aroma can be detected, pleasant enough but semi-bland. Interesting beer, let’s see some more orange ales!

A golden beer wtih a thick white head. The aroma is sweet matly with notes of yeast and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with light notes of spices and oranges, leading to a dry spicy and yeasty finish. The body is thin.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 hotstuff (3249) - Indiana, USA - FEB 1, 2008
Draft at New Old Lompoc Brewery, Portland, OR. Ivory head that was mostly lasting, decent amount of lacing, transparent, minimal amount of carbonation, and an orange hue. Nose was bitter, hoppy, fruity, and lightly malty. Flavor was bitter, hoppy and fruity. Fairly smooth mouthfeel and medium body. Quaffable brew that was not over-the-top hops and not too bitter tasting. Worthy of a try.
