On tap, Siskiyou Micro Pub, Ashland Dark red ale with an assertive aroma of florals, tropical fruits (papaya, pineapple). Sweet character. Wonderful blend of fruity hop and bright breadcrusty malts. Complex and flavourful, a top notch session brew.

On tap at Horse Brass. Rich red copper colour. Nice lasting foam. Gorgeous hop aroma. Caramel and hop flavours. Delicious. I really enjoy the blending of styles in the PNW. I want a keg of this at home.

Tap @ Horse Brass Pub... Poured dark red with a thin off-white head. Smooth palate with mild carbonation. Some soapy undertones and dry hops for a nice bitterness. Other caramel malt flavors and maybe toffee.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 beerinmarch (2830) - Washington, USA - DEC 16, 2004
This is a great hoppy brew, a bit too hoppy for an amber. Pours a slightly cloudy copper with a tall smooth white head. Lots of citrus hops, slightly spicy with just a bit of maltiness in the aroma. Taste starts with just a quick malt hint then finishes with a great citrus hop dry finish. The dryhopping really allows this brew to be refreshingly hoppy without being overly bitter. A great brew for some easy drinkin.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 harlequinn (2745) - Tacoma, Washington, USA - FEB 1, 2006
What a great beer! Deep copper coloring almost red with an off white sticky head. Aroma is fruit and almost akin to walking into a flower garden. Sweet and floral throughout, with a rich and sweet maltiness that is creamy and nutty, with some great doughiness and a nice hop level as well. Just this side of wonderful.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Beardface (1497) - Eugene, Oregon, USA - MAR 19, 2009
On tap at Bailey’s Taproom. Deep red pour with a very tiny white head. Nice fruit flavor with a solid pine hop bite. Very good smelling and tasting and well balanced. Caldera kept winning with me until I tried the Pils...
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 frylock (1081) - Buffalo, New York, USA - JUN 29, 2004
UPDATED: DEC 17, 2004 Dark red-copper color with a dense white head. Fruity hop aroma with a hint of caramel. Fresh hoppy flavor with some slightly toasty malt and caramel flavors balancing it out. Flavor is primarily hops though. Very tasty and hoppy rendition of a Red Ale, could possibly even be considered and American Strong Ale.

I liked this one a lot. Nice and hoppy throughout the whole beer. Mild malt and body for the main part of the brew. Hints at pine in there. Yumsauce.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 cathcacr (620) - Oregon, USA - MAR 17, 2008
On draft at the Laurelhurst Brew and View. Went alright with the specialty pizza and was more than the $3 ticket. More commendable than the film (Atonement) IMO.
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 stchloe (581) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 29, 2008
In a glass it is a really pretty beer. But proves that an incredibly good red can come from a can.
