| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Dec 16, 2004 This is a great hoppy brew, a bit too hoppy for an amber. Pours a slightly cloudy copper with a tall smooth white head. Lots of citrus hops, slightly spicy with just a bit of maltiness in the aroma. Taste starts with just a quick malt hint then finishes with a great citrus hop dry finish. The dryhopping really allows this brew to be refreshingly hoppy without being overly bitter. A great brew for some easy drinkin. harlequinn (2745), Tacoma, Washington, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 1, 2006 What a great beer! Deep copper coloring almost red with an off white sticky head. Aroma is fruit and almost akin to walking into a flower garden. Sweet and floral throughout, with a rich and sweet maltiness that is creamy and nutty, with some great doughiness and a nice hop level as well. Just this side of wonderful. boFNjackson (1328), Portland, Oregon, USA

Smooth palate with mild carbonation. Some soapy undertones and dry hops for a nice bitterness. Other caramel malt flavors and maybe toffee. Beardface (1036), Eugene, Oregon, USA

Fruity hop aroma with a hint of caramel. Fresh hoppy flavor with some slightly toasty malt and caramel flavors balancing it out. Flavor is primarily hops though. Very tasty and hoppy rendition of a Red Ale, could possibly even be considered and American Strong Ale. cathcacr (597), Portland, Oregon, USA
