3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 StefanSD (1586) - Lakeside, California, USA - MAY 22, 2012
650 ml bottle from bev4less. Pours a translucent copper color with a medium off-white head that has good retention. The aroma is moderate to light in strength with pine and grapefruit. The taste is similar to the nose with forward biter hops that are mostly piney. The malt base is loaded with semi-sweet caramel and toffee and off-sets the bitterness rather nicely. The palate is full and malty smooth with lively carbonation. The finish is long and dry with lingering caramel. Overall: A very tasty IPA.

Bomber from Capone’s. Pours clear deep copper with 2-finger frothy off-white head. Nose is piney resiny sticky hops, tangerine, black pepper, caramel malt. Tastes medium of palate heft and cmplexity, with resiny hops, some tropical fruit, an overall tart bitterness, and some finishing tannins.

Clear burnt orange/copper ale with a large frothy off white head.
Fine aromas of spicy/citric hops..some hay in the back
Very astringent..really attacks the taste buds..becomes almost ashy in its intensity..after sitting for a while some of the intensity subdues..but really needed more oats to get this in check
Palate is fine OK for style
Overall i can get it down my throat but never a great expierience
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 emacgee (3003) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - MAY 17, 2012
Pours a clean copper amber with one finger of creamy beige head. Nose is dandyish with some caramel and citrus flesh, light dactyl. Toasted grain and a tongue scraping bitterness. Not a fan, way astringent.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 Rrauth (222) - - MAY 12, 2012
Copper clear with tan foamy head. Lacing is nice. Nice citrus aroma. Really bitter from start to finish. Carbonation is nice maybe needs a little more to push the aroma. Nice beer. My second one from this brewer and I've love them both.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 15/20 skmikeg (238) - Poway, California, USA - MAY 5, 2012
pours a amber color with a small off white head. aroma is of floral hops, some citrus, earthy malts, and some caramel. taste is some what harsh with a lot of "dirt flavor" grapefruit rinds, and some caramel malts. Has a medium body with a slighty watery mouthfeel and a dry, bitter, lingering finish. overall, a disappointing beer that looked it might be good based on the brewer’s description of the beer and their track rerecord.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 riversideAK (4566) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - MAY 4, 2012
Holy fucking crystal malts. Iced tea dirt. Alot of caramel. Darker orange amber bubbly beige head. Iced tea sweet caramel and light dank. Bitterness and dank in finish is crushed by all the crystal malt. Fuck i like caldera but this is brutal.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20 bvc (1004) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - MAY 4, 2012
22oz bomber. Pours clear and darker golden caramel with little head and what there is is loose and flabby. Bready yeast, touch of ice tea, a strange muddled fruit tea hoppy thing going on. Waxy tea hops, bready caramel malts...hard to drink.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 davidajensen (156) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - MAY 2, 2012
Nice beer. Creamy head with good lacing. The head holds up. A little metallic, the finish is dry and clean up front but the bitterness lingers in the back of the mouth.
