beerguy101 (3488), Newark, California, USA Feb 24, 2006 Tasted on tap at the 2006 Bistro 2xIPA festival. Pours a light orange gold color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is citrusy and sweet. A medium bodied Imperial IPA. Malts are caramel and fruit. Hops are citrusy. A medium bitter IPA. Light, crisp and dry. Nice balance. Very drinkable IPA. Nice beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is slightly bitter Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jan 26, 2006 On tap, Siskiyou Micro Pub, Ashland Bright amber colour. Explosive dry hopping leads to monster grapefruit and a bit of wood. Big, fresh, woodsy and slightly citric taste. Well balanced. Impressive beer. harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Jan 15, 2006 Very tasty! Pours a deep golden color with a nice fluffy head. The aroma has alot of sweet maltiness that carries through into the flavor, a nicely balanced imperial that never gets to over the top, even though this is aggressively hopped, the sweet, rich maltiness makes thr flavor quite smooth. Th finish is slightly bittersweet. Quite enjoyable.
