gunnfryd (3539), Kristiansand, Norway May 10, 2009 Can. Golden- orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma is grapefruit, hop, flower. Flavour is hop, grapefruit, hop, malt, flower. Full bodied nice beer. EithCubes (2140), Indiana, USA May 9, 2009 Can! Heavy grass and PNW hop aroma with some caramel and light resin. Clear amber-orange with a tiny-bubbled frothy beige head. Taste is bittersweet, muddled and dulled (I)IPA, ala an aged Dreadnaught, which really isn’t a bad thing. Full body, a touch of alcohol showing through. Enjoyable beer, don’t want another. radagast83 (1273), Fairfax, Virginia, USA May 8, 2009 12 oz bottle. Hmmm, another good canned beer? Great! Aroma is citrus, hops, light malts. Flavor is hoppy, nice citrus hops, touch of sweet malts. Not too bitter, and no noticeable metallic taste. guzzler67 (1272), Hanover, Maryland, USA May 5, 2009 Clear deep amber appearance with a large, off white head and good lacing. Spicy, citrusy hop aroma with some floral notes buried beneath all the hoppiness. Taste is doninated by the citrus hops but partners well with the earthy malts to add good balance. Medium bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel with a lingering finish. Cornfield (4892), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA May 5, 2009 DLD 2009, thanks to [?]: Poured from the can, this had a light golden body with a thick white head. It had a soft aroma, citrusy hops over sweet pale malt. The flavor began with a toffee/caramel sweetness, soon balanced (or more) by a sturdy PNW hop bitterness. Not bad. mephisto (1144), Taiwan Apr 28, 2009 another great beer in a can! pours pale yellow with a creamy layer of beige head, it has thin citrusy aroma and flavor. the balance is excellent! scrizzz (1252), kirkland, Washington, USA Apr 27, 2009 Updated: Aug 25, 2009Clear copper, sticky dense head, perfect and picturesque. Fresh hop aroma. Caramel malt, holds up big to the strong biting hops. Great on the golf course. mrhoppy (209), Santa Clara, California, USA Apr 21, 2009 The best IPA in a can and better than most others. Everything you look for in an IPA. Delicious!
