TheEpeeist (1430), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 1, 2009 12 oz can. Clear orange with a thin beige head. Nose is orange, caramel and pine. Medium light with buzzy, stinging carb; a touch sticky. Taste is grapefruit pulp, bitter lemon and toffee. Dry finish with sweet dough. Would be good with BBQ. HighGravity (890), Baltimore, Maryland, USA Feb 25, 2009 Dry, aromatic, and bitter. The hops are really fresh tasting a subtle malt backbone kicks in at mid-palate. Wow this is very dry This certainly has the makings of a go to camping beer for sure. GMCC2181 (846), Bear, Delaware, USA Feb 24, 2009 A trippy can that looks like its from 60/70’s... Poured into a pint glass, nice head, very light red in color. Nice nose, light grass, citrus and pine. Taste has a sharp bitterness to it. Piney and grassy hops. Its a little thin on texture. Dry and a it does have a litte metalic taste to it. Definetly could use some more malts but overall a decent ipa... Thanks robert for sharing Swolf3 (252), Elkton, Maryland, USA Feb 23, 2009 Can Shared by Robert @ Stateline. Poured amber color with white head. Aroma is fruity hops. pine and caramel. Taste was similar but a little watered down for my taste. Just ok. sloth (1658), Ceciltucky, Co., Maryland, USA Feb 21, 2009 Small offwhite head thats short lived. Clear, copper orange hued brew. Nose is a bit grassy, sugary with some light malt notes. Body is medium with a good carbonation level. Clean. Dry maltiness backed by a light hoppiness, some pine and faint citrus notes, grass and earthyness, light metallic notes plus some caramelly maltiness. Dry, lightly fruity finish, good bite. An ok IPA. Can procured @statelineliquors. ante (2904), Stockholm, Sweden Feb 18, 2009 Canned, sampled at SBWF08, Stockholm. Pours out in a amber colour with a rich white foam. Hoppy, fruity fragrant aroma of pine and grapefruit eith touches of apricots and caramel. Medium-bodied with notes of grapefruit, lemon-zest, flowers and pine-needles with touches of mango. Long bitter finish of grass, pine and grapefruit with sweet floral undertones. Tasty! crackedmachine (82), Seattle, Washington, USA Feb 17, 2009 Pours a lovely orange-amber with a plentiful head. The aroma is at first of hops, then a hint of metal. The up front malt flavor comes as a bit of a surprise following the hearty hop aroma, and backs up the abundant hops nicely - a good backbone for the hops to mingle with. I could drink this often. marcus (1826), Sacramento, California, USA Feb 13, 2009 This golden ale poured from a can with a large fluffy beige head and a caramel malt aroma. This is a well-crafted brew, as evident in its complex malt base overlaid with tasty, but not overdone hopping. A very enjoyable drink.
