12oz can. Pours hazy burnt orange with a moderate sized offwhite head and good lace. Smells nicely balanced with sweet malts and some lightly bitter and earthy and citrusy hops. Tastes nice and bitter with some citrus and grass and a good dose of sweet, fruity, caramel hops. Medium body, good carbonation.

Very nice indeed. Malty aroma with a hint of the hops to come. Pours slightly cloudy amber with a lacing head. The flavor is hop bitterness at it’s best. And they keep coming. Great after taste that asks for more.

Can from Jimbowood. Thanks! copper, white head. Nose is pine & pink grapefruit, meaty caramel maltiness, a little pith & dustiness. Flavor is pine, a bit of tea, strong caramel malt with a little bit of roast & cocoa. Bitter finish, grapefruit, tea. Finish is a bit too dusty malt for me.

Can from Beers of Europe. Hazy amber, medium head. Nice citrussy hop aroma with hints of raisins and nuts. Good citrussy bitterness with nuttiness and raisins. Dry. A very decent West Coast IPA.

Can from greens in mb. Pretty average, nondescript brew. Beer guy at the store said it was fresh but it tasted otherwise.

I love the oil can . Cool vibrant design and the small size make 4 slamin eazy if you’re if the mood ,right outta the can ghetto style. I used a glass for this review but was tempted to sink this shit straight up.Woudda if i’d had a sixy. Ok the God damn aroma . Grapefruity hops are striking in the nose..with not so subtle backdropping of toasty malt ..some caramel and pines dancing in the air. Flavaz : Sapy ,almost sopey and oily piney citrus hops ...grapefruit is as striking as in the aroma. dry and then leading to chewey caramel toasty maltiness. Good eazy swillin’ IPA .
3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 koopa (335) - , New Jersey, USA - MAY 23, 2010
Appearance: Pale golden pumpkin color with a 2 finger beige creamy head that looks like rocky whipped cream only not as bright white. Good head retention and lacing.
Smell: Lots and lots of grapefruit from the hops. Extremely well done. Not overbearing but undeniably grapefruit rind goodness.
Taste: Closer to a pale ale with a lot of grapefruit character. Not sure if its chinook hops or cascade that are being used here.
Mouthfeel: A bit thin for my liking.
Drinkability: Fairly easy to throw these 6.1 ABV cans back.
Serving type: can

Draft from Malt and Vine. I had this from a can a while back, didn’t rate it, and have been wanting to try it again for a while. Amber orange pour with a big sudsy white head. Leaves bubbly lacing chunks. Nice big American hop aroma, with cedar and a whole pile of citrus zest. There’s a light, toasty, crackery malt body on this that moves into a resinous hop finish. Lots of citrus notes again. Medium light body on this without much sticky sweetness to it, thankfully. Overall, awesome.
