When drinking out of a can i expect something that tastes like grass and chemicals. however this is pure joy. Tastes of citrus and grapefruit, followed by a great hop profile which doesn’t overshadow the citrus. lovely. ratman197 (3191), Arvada, Colorado, USA

Aromas of resiny pine, earthiness, light grapefruit and light carmel. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, pine, light grapefruit and a hint of orange with a smooth dry bitter finish. Amazing canned IPA wish we could get it in Colorado! | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 17, 2008 From my man, in The Hood. Dark golden/orange, huge rocky head, entire glass is filled with lacing. Aroma is rather muted caramel and faint fruity esters. Flavor still has a decent balance of citrus, pine, and biscuity malt, but still rather subdued. Mouthfeel is creamy, carbonation is starting to fall apart a tad. Sorry holms, might need a fresher sample, my lazy a-- didn’t get to this quick enough. Beershine (2709), Where Climate Suits My Clothes, Vietnam
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 4, 2008 Can, special procurement. Clear orange, small head, lots of little rising bubbles. Pine, spruce: a forest of hop aromas. Interesting character in this one: piney but clean. Slightly sweet at the end. Quaffable and fun. pintsize (1042), Austin, Texas, USA

Amber orange medium pour with a nice big soapy white head and small speckled lacing everywhere. Smell is bright and clean hops - almost like green apples and grapefruit up front. Flavor is nice and bitter citris hops. Finishes dry and clean. This is bright and balanced - a nice treat for the palate. Overall, a great treat for me - bitter and dry and yummy! lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA

Pours Semi-clear reddish amber witha big lasting chunky whitish head that leaves lots of lacing. Smell is sweet fruity, fresh and hoppy. Very nice. Taste is smooth with fruity caramel and fresh citrusy, and sweet orange flavored hops and bitter citrus rind. Nice and strongly bittered which lasts in the finish but with a light lingering sweetness too. Very good IPA. boFNjackson (1269), Portland, Oregon, USA

Gold colored beer with an amazing fluffy head and awesome lace. Nice aroma of herbal piney hops. Some grapefruit and toasted biscuits too. Flavor is much the same. Nice dank herbal hops, biscuits and toast, caramel. Not extremely bitter, but an awesomely drinkable IPA.
