Can from BoE. Coppery reddish with a large frothy white head. Sweet caramel aroma with a little pine. Some malty sweetness in the taste and a hint of soap. Sharp hoppy finish. Chugged down the first half of the can after a fiery chilli con carne, and it left me not a little light headed.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 curly (2352) - Seattle (Newcastle), Washington, USA - FEB 2, 2010
Clear amber, frothy beige head. Aroma of grapefruit, pine, flowers, and other sweet citrus. Taste is citrus and pine, the citrus is very sweet but there are a lot of bitter hops to balance. Smooth texture and soft carbonation.

Tinned, 355ml from Bellingers Garage, Grove, Oxon. Bright orange amber with white head, carbonated. A resinous note hits the nose and then into a single dimensional, bitter hopped beer. Quite sharp and tinny from the pasteurisation, little balance, so its a case of picking out the hops.

4.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 tmfc (2) - USA - JAN 21, 2010 does not count
an oustanding blend of drinkability, body and complexity for an ipa...pours a nice frothy head that lingers and maintains a creaminess without being over carbonated...the hops are distinct and well balanced with the malt, maintaining a mild fruity bitterness without being too sweet...this may be the perfect session ipa
