Aromas of grapefruit and wet grass. Start has a bit of caramel and is quickly followed by dry grain, citrus and grass. Just a hint of fruit. A decent IPA. Heathen (795), Riverside, New Jersey, USA

TECHNICAL: Can. Poured a clear, dark, slightly brown, orange with an average to large, off-white head that mostly diminished, but left excellent lacing. The aroma was light to moderate caramel malt, grapefruit, more orange and less resinous hops that increased as it warmed. A slight funk too when it was warmer. The initial flavor was sweet, lightly acidic and bitter; while the finish was lightly sweet and rather bitter with an average to long duration. There was caramel malt, orange and grapefruit, leaning more to orange, piney and resinous hops. The medium body was sort of oily, then dry with fizzy carbonation and a a dry, slightly metallic, and light to moderately astringent finish. Elwood (677), Leesburg, Virginia, USA

Appearance: Deep gold with a touch of amber. Foamy, off-white head. Good head retention and lacing. There may be hope in this one.
Aroma: Lighter nose than I was hoping for. Pine hops, soap, and a hint of citrus.
Taste: Big, resinous pine hop flavor with notes of soap, honey, and earth. Tastes as though it was dry hopped. Unfortunately I’ve been down this road before and there isn’t much new offered by this brew.
Palate: Medium-high carbonation with a medium body and a long bitter finish. A bit of unwelcome soapiness lingers on my tongue.
Overall: Welcome to another tongue lashing IPA! Okay, but it doesn’t hold a candle to a Two Hearted or a Nugget Nectar. harrisoni (6771), Ashford, Kent, England

Some toffee and a lot of sweet crystal malt. The problem is that there is not enough malt balance and character to carry the hop aroma and though there is bitter ness on the end, it’s a harsh bitterness rather than a more rounded finish. Still for an IPA in a can its pretty good. Some toastiness throughout. Fin (3411), Merton, Oxfordshire, England

Wonderful hoppy aroma with pine and grapefruit lingering for a long while on the nose and a floral edge to it also. This has a nice initial hoppy sting that is tempered by a very pleasant honey sweetness, really tasty and most enjoyable. A7 A5 F7 P4 Ov 15 3.8 OldMrCrow (1188), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 11, 2009 Can. Deep amber pour. Lovely juicy hop aroma, but lots of bitter grapefruit pith in the flavor. Pretty dry, powerfully hopped, nice and drinkable. Pretty darn solid beer. Wombata (74), Kobe, Japan
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 7, 2009 Color: Reddish brown
Aroma: Slightly musty, distinct basil, floral, fresh resinous hop
Flavor: Initially smooth fruity malt followed by an intense bittering hop attack with bitter grapefruit and grapefruit rind, basil and resins on the mid-palate and finish.
Comment: Starts with a deceptive balance of malt and hop and then the hop bitterness explodes and carries though the finish.
