Can from Saveur-Biere.fr, smuggled into the cinema and drunk whilst watching a very disappointing film. This was quite decent though. Very hop-forward pine & citrus character. Hit the spot.

On tap at Delirium Village. Refreshing dark Ipa. Overall, a mild Ipa, with some sour taste elements.

Amber with medium off-white head. Good bitterness mixed with malty sweetness. Not bad, but for me bit too much raw malt notes.

On tap at beertemple, amsterdam. Body is opalescent orange copper, head is medium, white, creamy, average lasting, excellent lacing. Nose is fruity, flavor is grapefruit, orange peel, soap, honey. Medium sweet, medium bitter. Finish is long lasting hoppy medium bitter. Full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Easy, refreshing, tasty, great one.

355 ml can from Les Vignerons. Dark gold/light amber, pretty clear, with a big, fluffy and persistent dirty white head. Good lacings I dont mean to sound disrespectful, but it does smell like a typical American IPA with crystal malts after a few months of transoceanic trip. Soapy hop notes, lots of caramel/toffee presence, a light herbal and bubblegum reminisce, mild fruity edge. Yup, taste follow suite with no surprises. Sweet astringency upfront, moderate earthy bitterness, slightly herbal aftertaste. 100% drinkable but far from exciting. The 6% ABV is extremely well hidden, though. Average carbonation, medium body, creamy texture. So so.

Poured into SA perfect pint showing moderate filtered, caramel brown with a finger of sparse white foam. The nose shows an interesting aroma of honey and pineapple. The palate shows low carbonation and medium bodied. Sharp biting IPA bitterness overtakes much of the palate, however a slightly existent malt backbone supports the beer. Good to start but a disappointment if you choose for it finish. But your palate is always the judge.

Can 355ml. Thx Tom Pouce. Pours golden with huge frothy beige head. Intense lacing. Aroma is of citrus, pine, soap, resin, tropical fruits. Taste is of citrus, pine, bitterness, slight soap, tropical fruits. Palate: Medium body. Medium carbonation. Not 100% well balanced. Overall: Quite bitter. Fairly good. A bit too much on caramel for me while, oddly, somewhat harsh.

The aroma is tart, resin, citrus and tropical fruits like mango. Its not fresh though. The freshness is killed by aromas of cooked fruits like apple and syrup. The flavor is similar and dominated by the aftertaste after couple of sips. The aftertaste is resinous, cooked fruits. Moderately sweet and bitter finish reminding me of a bay leaf and lemon peel.

Can from The Beerhive. Hazy amber body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Excellent lacing. Aroma of honeyed malts and orange. Flavour of grapefruit, sweet malts and menthol. Medium body with an oily texture. Soft fizz. A bit too sweet for me, but still a tasty IPA.
