evergreen0199 (259), London, Greater London, England Aug 18, 2009 Can from Bellingers, Oxfordshire. An amber pour with decent white head. Hoppy, fruity aroma. Grapefruit, hoppy taste, slightly bitter. Refreshing. Hard to believe this is an IPA from a can. Very nice. Magicdave6 (5400), London, Greater London, England Aug 17, 2009 Can thanks to the bosses had at home. Alround rating: Big grassy citrusy bittering hop, fairly peppery and drying, the malt is more pale honey almost than the usual caramalt, but interesting stuff all the same. CheersMate1 (770), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Aug 17, 2009 12 oz. can from John’s Market Place. Nice coppery/brown color. Nice thin head sitting on top. This is a good looking IPA. Ctirus hop aroma with a subtle fruit aroma. Not really smelling the pine hop aroma as some are, but I am sure tasting it. Smooth beer with a nice malt backing that keeps it slightly fruity. The citrus hops are immediately noticeable. The bittering hop just lingers. There is this lingering pine hop that is great. Well balanced IPA. For me it could be slightly more hoppy, but then again it is so well balanced I can’t argue that. Good beer, and when I am out on the West Coast next time I plan on investing in more of this stuff. ucusty (1871), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Aug 15, 2009 Hazy amber pour. Thin beige head and spotty lace. Pine and light citrus. Flavor follows suite. Snojerk321 (1917), San Diego, California, USA Aug 12, 2009 Can. Pours orange gold with huge, fluffy ivory head. The aroma is sticky pine and a refreshingly tart citrus. The flavor is lightly orange with some pine and honey. There’s a nice assertive bitterness to it, but it’s pretty smooth and balanced out by the mild sweetness. There’s a note of toast there at the finish, and a dry aftertaste. Quite refreshing. Taverner (826), San Ramon, California, USA Aug 9, 2009 THE best canned IPA ever! Better than Gordon! Better than BFOD! Better than DPA! It just works! Nice soapy head, on a copper pour. Fresh and floral. Lots of grapefruity notes. Finish is bitter, but clean. Hophead22 (1056), Redlands, by way of Wisconsin,, California, USA Aug 8, 2009 Updated: Aug 9, 200912oz can. Dark gold pour with a little orange, very clear as well. Pretty good head retention, sort of a dirty white color with a decent lace. Smells good, lots of pine, sort of a metallic aroma hidden underneath, very faint, but it’s there. Big blast of bitter hops right up front, it lingers for a bit. Good IPA. (970) leaparsons (4659), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Aug 8, 2009 Can. Amber with a small head. Aromas are toffee, pine and spices. Clean and peppery with some woody notes. Flavours are sweet toffee and oranges with herbal notes. Sweet and resinous grapefruit with bitter green pine. Peppery with grapefruit pith on the finish. Good.
