jzzbassman (838), New Albany, Mississippi, USA Aug 4, 2009 Can. Pours light orange with a small head. Big aroma of grass and caramel and piney hops. Balanced crisp hops with a very malty smooth toffee body. ericandersnavy (1039), crossroads, Texas, USA Aug 3, 2009 can courtesy of bhensonb. poured a goldish/orange with a white head and some nice lace. aroma of caramel, pine, and apricot. flavor was pine and grass. medium body with medium carbonation. not a bad brew. i love canned beers. thanks bill BMan1113VR (2756), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA Aug 2, 2009 Can. Pours with a creamy bone colored head over a just slightly hazed harvest orange body. Aroma is nice and hoppy, pine, and grassy/spicy. Taste is herbal, grainy (nearly astringent), and grassy. Decently bitter. Not as nice of a hop profile or presence as the aroma. Lightly soapy. Light bubbles, water like viscosity. Decent. alexanderj (2213), Chino Hills, California, USA Jul 26, 2009 Bottle; poured a really nice looking amber color ith a medium to large, and firm, white head. Aroma was a nice blend of citrus, grapefruit, pine, herbs, and BO, with a bit of caramel and toffee. A bit buttery in the flavor, which was not great. Some nice pine and citrus, but a bit too much of the unpleasant maltiness. Still it was a pretty solid beer overall. hershiser2 (902), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA Jul 25, 2009 Can, $2.15 at Wine Warehouse, Charlottesville. Pours an amber-orange with a small off-white head. Mainly pine in the nose, with some grapefruit. Heavy, bitter pine flavor. Some lingering pepper in the finish. bitbucket (2026), Kirkland, Washington, USA Jul 21, 2009 Colorful can. Pours monstrously chill-hazed orange with a lacy white head. Aroma of apricots with a smidge of grapefruit and tofee. Medium body and low carbonation. Sweet taste of toffee citrus and fruit, with a dry pine and grapefruit finish. You might disagree with the hops profile, but this beer delivers what IPAs are supposed to do. Well, that plus the chill haze. bdjames29 (272), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Jul 18, 2009 Qiuite possibly my first IPA out of a can. As someone previously mentioned a novelty purchase at $13.50/6-pack at Cape Wine and Spirit in Lewes, DE. Tastey IPA but nothing mind-blowing here. A solid IPA but nowhere near worth the price.
