Lots of pine and a hint of citrus in the aroma. Flavor is bittering hops with a note of caramel malt. Bitter finish. Moderate mouthfeel. Good IPA. Bonus points for the can, making this a beer you can take on summer outings. MrBunn (1527), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jul 10, 2009 Can. Body is a clear orange with a nice head and gives off aromas of pine, sweet malt and honey-like sweetness. flavor is similar and has a sharp crispness to it that is pleasant. Just a hint of metal interferes with the palate a bit, but never becomes too problematic. Good stuff in a can. hopscotch (5474), Vero Beach, Florida, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 8, 2009 Can... Pours clear and orange with a mid-sized, creamy, off-white head. Excellent retention. It’s a musky, PNW hops drenched nose of honey, pine and grapefruit. Medium to full-bodied and very creamy with modest carbonation. Remarkably well-balanced between the lupulin bitterness and honey, toffee and caramel malt sweetness. Very lightly tangy. Crisp, moderately bitter, refreshing finish. Can courtesy of scraff! | 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 30, 2009 Can from my friend in Oregon. Pours out a nice orange color without much of a head. Smell is orange, grass, straw, and heavy on the hops. Mostly centennial comes through on this. Taste is hoppy and kind of sweet. Dry, very easy to drink.. I am running out of things to say here. This is a good beer, but its just a typical west coast IPA. This one does not stand out at all. Its good, its in a can, its worth trying, but it doesnt stand out. mcsquint (93), , Missouri, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 26, 2009 Poured from 12 oz can into pint mug:
Aroma - Citrus,pine, grassy, malty.
Appearance - Dark golden amber in color. Clear, with nice 2 finger, off-white head. Excellent lacing on glass.
Flavor - Golden malt at first; quickly followed by citrus and pine. Finishes fairly dry but leaves slight metallic aftertaste.
Palate - Medium. Carbonation is very fine in character.
Overall - As big as this is on flavor, I would have thought the ABV would be more than 6.1%. It’s very drinkable; but at @ $14.00\6 pack it will have to be an occasional treat

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jun 25, 2009 Straight forward approach to the NWIPA - Moderately bready malt backbone accented with sweet caramel notes and light, ripe peach hints. Solid grapefruit character with a leaf and grass component. Great balancing bitterness that finishes with a moderate resinous oily character. Really well done drink.
