It’s a good IPA. In a can. Just took a case of it down the wild section of the Rogue River on a raft trip (no bottles allowed). I had "yellow can" after a good rapid. I had a yellow can first thing at camp. I had a yellow can for breakfast! And it’s not just the novelty of the can--it’s really a solid IPA. I have no idea what it looks like, because I’ve never poured it, but I imagine it looks as good as it tastes. And did I mention that it comes in a can?! We bought it in Ashland for $26 a case, but in Portland it’s $10 a sixer. They need to work on that.

Enjoyed from a 12oz can in a pub glass. The beer pours a medium to deep copper, with a small white head. Aromas of hops dominate the nose, giving at once citrus, grapefruit, earth, and a bit of pine. The palate starts and ends bitterly, almost bordering on a slight harshness. However, there is a deep malt backbone that runs right through the middle, and that cuts the aforementioned. The finish is just about neutral on the sweet/dry spectrum. Overall, a nice American IPA, and one that I’m glad I took a chance on trying.

orangish red with large white head, moderate carbonation for the style. citrusy hop nose that could be more pronounced. flavor initiates with moderate bitterness before floral, spicy and citrusy hop flavor that is very complex and lingers for awhile as it mixes with the alcoholic warmth in a sea of pleasantness. the finish is dry with mild malt sweetness. a very nice IPA, pleasantly surprised

Cloudy copper pour, big head and lace. Major sweet hop aroma. Lots of piny hops, nice carb, with significant candy sweetness. Thick on the palate with some alcohol. Dusty dark fruits and a hint of vanilla. Yum

Can into Tulip. Pours amber and clear with an off white head; tight and lively. Juicy aroma of passion fruit, grapefruit, watermellon gum and oranges. Round flavors of fruit (grapefruit, orange) at the start followed by a sharper pine and grass pinch on the back of the tongue. Very smooth and easy to drink. Excellent lacing and an overall gorgeous IPA.

12oz can. Clear amber color with a big off-white head. Crisp citrus hop aroma with a bit of malt. Bitter hop flavor with tons of citrus and malt calming on the back end. Cheers to another canned beer that really impresses.

Can. Pours hazy orange amber with a nice off-white head. Initial aroma is big, sweet, and fruity- grapefruit and pineapple- later more floral and grassy. Taste is full of pine, grass, grapefruit, and earth, and maybe some caramel if you look hard enough. Medium body, great bitter grassy finish.

12oz. Can: Thanks glkaiser! Aroma of hops, pine, resin, slight caramel, and a hint of malt. Poured orange/amber in color with a large, creamy, dense, off-white head that lasted throughout. Clear. Lightly sparkling. Excellent lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet and light to medium bitter. Tastes of hops, pine, resin, slight caramel, light toasted malts, and some biscuit. Medium body. Smooth texture. Hoppy, pine and toasted malt finish. Very drinkable.
