I like it. The hop oils aren't distracting, and it has an easier finish than many IPAs. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

IBU 71. From 12oz can poured into a frozen pint glass. Deep copper color. Thick head. Very tasty. Hoppy but not overly bitter. Quite refreshing. Solid ipa. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can obtained in local trade. Pours amber, slight haze, little visible carbonation. Aroma is minimal, due to lack of carb. What is present is thin citrus and thin pine. Taste is light pine resin, tropical citrus and hints of malt undertones. Palate is medium carbonation, somewhat oily texture. Overall a middle of the road IPA. Nothing really unique about it.

Iím honestly surprised to see such high ratings across the board for this one. Itís a fine IPA with notes of cedar and grapefruit but nothing luscious or particularly memorable for me here. Perhaps itís because Iím drinking from a can shipped all the way to VT?

COD 1/27/14 Pours a slightly hazy amber with a hint of red. Outstanding massive head and lasting lacing. The nose is an exceptional blend of grapefruit and other tropicals against a rich caramel sweetness with just a touch of spruce. The body is medium with an almost slick texture. The carbonation level is a bit above normal, which aids the finish. The hop flavor profile is well balanced with malt sweetness. It begins with a grapefruit sweetness, progresses to spruce/pine and flows to a moderate tart bitterness. The finish is a blend of tart bitterness and caramel sweetness.

A nice dark red, copper color. White head that leaves a lot of lacing. Orange, citrus, grapefruit, tropical fruit pine, and sweet caramel malt. Bitterness at the end. Great body and medium carbonation. A really good Westcoast-IPA !

Brilliant copper pour with white head. Aroma is juicy grapefruit and cedar. Lots of bitterness up front - grapefruit and pine and some bready malts to cut the bitterness. Finishes with a lingering bitterness and some sweet, fruity malts. Good.

A straight forward enjoyable ipa. Nothing special. Nice head on it. Could be more bitter.
