Clear orange-copper, or weak iced-tea in color with fine foamy covering that leaves some nice lace. Nice perfumy cascade-like aroma. Some citrus, pine and floral hops. Assertively hoppy. Lots of woodsy pine and some citrus peel. Kinda astringent bitter finish. Slightly stingy aggressive carbonation does not help the already astringent character of the beer. Pretty drinkable, despite the astringent impression.

i lvoe this beer. The fact that it comes in a can makes it taste that much more better. When drinking out of a can i expect something that tastes like grass and chemicals. however this is pure joy. Tastes of citrus and grapefruit, followed by a great hop profile which doesn’t overshadow the citrus. lovely.

12oz can. Pours a beautiful amber/orange with a soft, off white head. Exceedingly well balanced flavors for an IPA, great bitterness, probably a bit more on the resiny/spruce side of things than herbal or citrus. Seems to have a hint of juniper or maybe pepper. Tough to say. Nice lacing and a lingering, dry finish. Great example of a west coast IPA and likely one of the best. Way to go Ashland! Now you have something besides the Shakespeare Festival to be proud of.

Can at home (love the bright coloured art on the can!). Pours a hazy orange-amber colour, foamy white head. Aromas of orangey fruitiness, touch of honey. Lovely, honey-butterscotch flavour with bright citrus hops and bold hops. Balanced carbonation, terrific beer!

Very nice IPA. Tasted from a can, purchased while visiting Oregon with Duffman.

Not quite sure what the beers look like as I drank this straight from the can and it taste dead with some of the beer IPA’s. The aroma is your typical citrusy type but the taste is very crisp, clean and goes down easy with a hint of the hops lingering on the back of your throat but in a good way. Nothing that is overpowering and I strongly recommend this

Poured from 12 oz can into pint mug: Aroma - Citrus, pine, grassy, malty. Appearance - Dark golden amber in color. Clear, with nice 2 finger, off-white head. Excellent lacing on glass. Flavor - Golden malt at first; quickly followed by citrus and pine. Finishes fairly dry but leaves slight metallic aftertaste. Palate - Medium. Carbonation is very fine in character. Overall - As big as this is on flavor, I would have thought the ABV would be more than 6.1%. It’s very drinkable; but at @ $14.00\6 pack it will have to be an occasional treat

Smells sweet and piney. Pours with decent creamy white head. It has a biting, but nice bitterness. It lacks a little malty backbone, but is not too bad. The hop character lacks a little character, but quite good. I could drink this quite a bit.
