Caldera IPA

Thanks Brewdad for a chance at this one. IPA in a can, Yay. Poured a very clear and filtered dark yellow/orange. Smell was great, nice tropical notes, bitter as well. Taste was hop forward peach and mango, just enough balancing malt with a big bitter finish. Great beer from a can, up their with the best canned beers I have had. Nice IPA here.

12oz can. Clear light orange color. Intense nose of dry, minerally yeast combined with juicy grapefruit crystal hops is an appetizing and fruity aroma. Juicy hop cones throughout - notes of pineapple, dry peach skin, grassy and dank. Medium body, nice dryness developing late. Really good.

i lvoe this beer. The fact that it comes in a can makes it taste that much more better. When drinking out of a can i expect something that tastes like grass and chemicals. however this is pure joy. Tastes of citrus and grapefruit, followed by a great hop profile which doesn’t overshadow the citrus. lovely.

Can poured a clear amber with a lasting ivory head. Aromas of resiny pine, earthiness, light grapefruit and light carmel. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of carmel, earthiness, pine, light grapefruit and a hint of orange with a smooth dry bitter finish.

From my man, in The Hood. Dark golden/orange, huge rocky head, entire glass is filled with lacing. Aroma is rather muted caramel and faint fruity esters. Flavor still has a decent balance of citrus, pine, and biscuity malt, but still rather subdued. Mouthfeel is creamy, carbonation is starting to fall apart a tad. Sorry holms, might need a fresher sample, my lazy a-- didn’t get to this quick enough.
