A deep golden yellow color with a nice head. The araomw as deep with hops and malts. Liked the hoppy flaovr with this beer. Had some nice malt qulaity and this finished quite bitter. Not bad for a canned beer. lamas (737), Adams Morgan, Washington DC, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 5, 2009 Can. Pours a clear copper with a smallish tan head. Nice balance in the aroma with plenty of caramel and vanilla to offset the pine and grapefruit. Medium body. Fair balance taste-wise too. Starts off with some earthy caramel flavors. Light vanilla follows. Finishes with plenty of bitter grapefruits. A solid IPA. Cletus (5061), Connecticut, USA

Appears a hazy, light orange with a small white head that fades into a mild collar and film. Spotty lacing is left around the glass.
Smell is nice of citrusy hops, along with some notes of pine sap and herbs.
Taste is of the mentioned aromas with caramel and citrus notes battling it out with a mild spiciness going on in the flavor.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, yeasty, sweet up front, and bitter on the end. RCL (1498), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Mar 22, 2008 Aroma has a real "hempy" angle to it, if you catch my drift. Fairly sweet and malty for an IPA, but it balances out the hops nicely. Pretty good stuff. TheEpeeist (1500), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 1, 2009 12 oz can. Clear orange with a thin beige head. Nose is orange, caramel and pine. Medium light with buzzy, stinging carb; a touch sticky. Taste is grapefruit pulp, bitter lemon and toffee. Dry finish with sweet dough. Would be good with BBQ. Soonah (980), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Aug 29, 2009 Poured clear and copper with a one-finger tall white head and moderately sticky lacing. The aroma was well balanced between pine hops, caramel sweetness and some old bud. The flavor is on the bitter side, with pine and orange rind winning out over caramel and fruity sweetness. Average mouthfeel. bitbucket (2036), Kirkland, Washington, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jul 21, 2009 Colorful can. Pours monstrously chill-hazed orange with a lacy white head. Aroma of apricots with a smidge of grapefruit and tofee. Medium body and low carbonation. Sweet taste of toffee citrus and fruit, with a dry pine and grapefruit finish. You might disagree with the hops profile, but this beer delivers what IPAs are supposed to do. Well, that plus the chill haze.
