Can from Uto. Amber with a lasting off white head. Nose of orangey/piney hops and caramel. Taste is quite sweet and malty with some nice bitter hops. Looks like the pale is the best of the three I’ve had so far.

Can or two with Pat enjoyed during some Arrested. Pours an amber body with light haze. Aroma is lightly fresh, citrus hop. Mouthfeel is bitter with notes of hops and a light malt base. Ok.

(psychedelic can from bhensonb, thanks!) Pours a hazy dark orange/amber with a medium white head and thick lacing. Aroma displays prominent caramel, biscuit, cut grass (more specifically fresh cut wet grass), stewed tomatoes, pepper, and a bit of garlic. Kind of weird. Pine pops in from time to time, but this specific can lacks any of the citrus in the aroma that others are describing. The flavor has some caramel and bread which is followed by a period of nothing (maybe a faint hint of orange, but that’s a stretch) before being replaced by some pepper and a purely bitter piney hop bite on the finish. Mouthfeel is medium. Thanks Bill!

Can from Market of Choice in Ashland, OR. I wanted to say good things about this brew, as many in Ashland rave about this company. Unfortunately, the more you drink it, the more the bitterness of the hops sticks to the back of your tongue. It was an odd sensation to say the least. Never happened to me before. Maybe because it’s canned??

12 ounce can purchased at the Davis Food Co-op. Aroma has some nice crystal malts present. Kind of sweet. There is also a significant amount of hempy herbal hoppiness in there, too. More sugars retronasally. Transparent copper body with a nice, frothy, off-white head. Starts a little acidic, actually. There is some peppery, spicy hop flavors to begin, with a griany, roasted malt middle. This finishes kind of dry with some bitter, piney, and grapefruit hops. There is also a little ethanol flavor to finish as well.

This was a nice ipa with that nice clean poured out of a can taste. Good beer.

Tinned, 355ml from Bellingers Garage, Grove, Oxon. Bright orange amber with white head, carbonated. A resinous note hits the nose and then into a single dimensional, bitter hopped beer. Quite sharp and tinny from the pasteurisation, little balance, so its a case of picking out the hops.

Nice dark orange colured ale, small lightv tan head. I dont like the aroma, it certainlly has hops aplenty, but has a sour ,sweaty work sock aroma that puts me off in the background. The flavor is better, very strong oniony hopping, pink grapefruit and spruce tips. Thin and maybe even a tad under carbonated. I dint really dig this one. I liked their Pale Ale way better.

This opens with a clear golden body that sits below a tall, thick, long lasting white head. Subdued malt and hop aroma. The flavor while not unpleasant is very low for what anyone would expect from a good IPA.
