22. Pours a crystal clear medium amber with a loose and sudsy whitish head. Lots of eggy lace. Pleasant ginger and caramel nose, like a somewhat subdued candy bar of ginger and caramel. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Caramel and ginger in relative balance on the mid palate, joined unfortunately by some stinky feet. Mix of caramel, ginger, and feet on the finish.

Crisp, crystal clear golden coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall just off-white head. Aroma of ginger (surprise), malt, alcohol, caramel and a hint of earth and floral notes. Light-bodied; Sharp ginger flavour with a hint of malt, some light sugars and an overly spicey finish showing some warmer notes. Aftertaste shows the ginger front and centre, some malt, some earth and a little sugar - not much else. Fairly one dimensional and spicey. Overall, not a bad beer, but not great...but it’s labeled perfectly: Ginger Beer. Period. I sampled this 65 cL bottle purchased from Olive Tree Market Place in San Diego, California on 05-May-2012 for US$4.49 sampled at home in Washington on 04-October-2012.

Pours a light amber with a moderate head. And it’s exactly what it says it is - a ginger beer. The ginger comes off in both aroma and taste. Unfortunately, I’m one of those people who really dislikes ginger as a flavor on its own. So, bleh. Me no likey.

Poured from a 22 ounce bottle. Very cloudy with minimal head. The aroma is burnt, fermented ginger, bready malts. The flavor is similar but worth a clean neutral yeast character. I would like a cleaner, stronger ginger presence.

22 oz. from Chuck’s, $4.99. Smells like citrus and ginger candy. Looks like a crystal clear golden yellow color. Unfortunately, despite how appealing it looks and smells, it simply doesn’t taste that good. Would like to see some spiciness to mimic the taste of straight ginger, but instead it just tastes like bitter vegetables.

Bottle:   Yellowish straw, faint haze, large sudsy white head, spotty lacing.   Soft spicy nose, reminds me of corriander and hibiscus.   Ginger is faint, very faint.   Same on the tongue, pale mealiness with a very soft Ginger aspect.   Wished it were more hefty.   Its like a Helles or Pale Lager with just a hint of spices.   Not bad, but certainly wished it were more sweet and Gingery.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.   Fishines quick, faint Ginger lingers.   Entertaining, but needs to be more robust and flavorful.

22 oz bottle from "Lifesource" Salem. $3.95 Nice golden clear beer body with a nice sized frothy/creamy white head. Ok aromas..mainlly a bit of ginger speice and some bready malt..simple nice Taste very nice indeed..nice spicy ginger backed with slightly caramel maltiness..simple again but i like . Liked the mouthfeel of this one..very forward carbonation which helps the ginger effect and a lingering ginger in the after taste. Overall a simple ginger brew .I liked it

Clean and crisp. The wife liked it, so she drank most of the bottle.

Really enjoyed this! Big gingery push on the nose, nice and spicey. Beer is fairly carbonated, hints of yeast, and bread run through the palate while being covered in a very real up front ginger taste. This flavor runs through the whole beer and well after each taste. Good stuff! Great alcoholic ginger beer!
