3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20 killjoy966 (576) - Washington, USA - JAN 14, 2012
22 oz. from Chuck’s, $4.99. Smells like citrus and ginger candy. Looks like a crystal clear golden yellow color. Unfortunately, despite how appealing it looks and smells, it simply doesn’t taste that good. Would like to see some spiciness to mimic the taste of straight ginger, but instead it just tastes like bitter vegetables.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 5000 (4104) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - NOV 26, 2011
Bottle:   Yellowish straw, faint haze, large sudsy white head, spotty lacing.   Soft spicy nose,
reminds me of corriander and hibiscus.   Ginger is faint, very faint.   Same on the tongue, pale mealiness
with a very soft Ginger aspect.   Wished it were more hefty.   Its like a Helles or Pale Lager with just a
hint of spices.   Not bad, but certainly wished it were more sweet and Gingery.   Moderate body and mouthfeel.
Fishines quick, faint Ginger lingers.   Entertaining, but needs to be more robust and flavorful.

Nice golden clear beer body with a nice sized frothy/creamy white head.
Ok aromas..mainlly a bit of ginger speice and some bready malt..simple nice
Taste very nice indeed..nice spicy ginger backed with slightly caramel maltiness..simple again but i like .
Liked the mouthfeel of this one..very forward carbonation which helps the ginger effect and a lingering ginger in the after taste.
Overall a simple ginger brew .I liked it

Clean and crisp. The wife liked it, so she drank most of the bottle.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 skoisirius (1063) - Earth, Washington, USA - AUG 24, 2011
Really enjoyed this! Big gingery push on the nose, nice and spicey. Beer is fairly carbonated, hints of yeast, and bread run through the palate while being covered in a very real up front ginger taste. This flavor runs through the whole beer and well after each taste. Good stuff! Great alcoholic ginger beer!
3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 marcus (4054) - Sacramento, California, USA - JUL 15, 2011
Bottle from Davis Co-op. Pours cloudy yellow with a massive white head and a ginger ale aroma. There is a light malt flavor with subtle sweetening and a hint of ginger. Very refreshing but doesn’t taste particularly good.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 MmmcKay (892) - Brentwood, Tennessee, USA - APR 25, 2011
Drank with Ryan Dank while brewing a batch of rye, smokey home brew. Pour is yellow. Smells like heavy ginger. Very one sided. Tastes a little better than the nose. But not much better. Kind of a ginger cream ale. I only have the Dogfish Head Pangea to compare it to. Neither rank high in my book.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 presario (4133) - Stampede City, Alberta, CANADA - MAR 28, 2011
Bottle. Big white head on pale yellow. Small herbal ginger scent. Did not realize there was candi sugar until I went to rate but that explains the sweet edge. The ginger is lighter than expected. The ginger is too light to be showcased. The beer is very drinkable but don’t think I want the added sugar in my summer quaffer. Not sure if it needs more ginger, less sugar or both. I prefer the Alley Kat ginger from 2010.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 lithy (2995) - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 2, 2011
Pale yellow, white foam. Aroma is just ginger spicing over a light malt body. Not sure why I bought this since I’m not a huge fan of ginger. The taste is ilght sweetness, ginger, it does succeed in being pretty refreshing.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 DarkElf (2961) - La Jolla, California, USA - JAN 8, 2011
08-Oct-10 (22-oz bottle: Purchased 18-Jul-10 for $4.29 at Holiday Wine Cellar in Escondido, CA) Hazy, very pale, straw-yellow in color with significant amount of large, ugly bubbles rising swiftly to join the bubby, white head. The head builds to about an inch before quickly retreating to a wide ring and broken sheet. Aromas of sweet ginger and Meyer lemon with a modest, slightly toasty, cereal malt backing. The flavor is surprisingly malty, showing light toast, biscuit, bread crust, and mild sweetness, but the grassy hops are very light. Ginger adds additional sweetness and is obvious in the flavor profile, but not overbearing, bitter or biting. On the palate, its light-medium weight is more substantial than expected given the very pale color of the beer. Medium-high carbonation is somewhat burpy, and the finish is dry and refreshing. A fair amount of patchy lace adorns the glass. I can’t say I’m a consistent fan of ginger beers; usually the ginger is very strong, dominating and bitter, but here, the balance is superb and the spiciness of the ginger is under control. Excellent craftsmanship on display here.
