This beer gets its name from the Hopunion Hop Hash nuggets - pure hop lupulin extracted and scraped from the Hopunion pelletizing line, then boiled for 90 minutes in the kettle. According to the brewer, this has never been done before! Premium 2-row, Great Western Munich, Crisp 60L and rolled oats comprise the grain bill designed to carry this load. Fermented warm using American Ale yeast to bring out the fruitiness, the resulting beer is designed to be a surprise on all fronts. Even the brewer has no idea how hoppy it’ll be.

Bomber. Mostly clear medium copper, foamy off-white head settles and lasts. Aroma of dank earthy hop and c-malt. Rough bitter resinous hoppy taste, caramel malty, dirty and earthy. Average carbonation, medium-full bodied, more aggressively hopped. Not so pleasant, yet still drinkable. DNFL (Definitely Not For Lagerboys)

650 ml. Clear orange-copper with a lasting film of bubbles. Nose is big with pineapple, mango and caramel with a touch of resin. Tastes of orange caramel, woody resin, papaya and a touch of minty-tart apple. Near-medium body is smooth with a soft, medium carbonation and has an excellent balance. Nice taste and an easy drinker.

Not floral at all. Not my kind of IPA. I should have known better when it said "a twist on the American style pale ale".

Bottle to IPA glass Grapefruit, chlorine, malt, and light tropical fruit. Pours a clear reddish amber with a thick, long lasting 2 cm frothy and creamy head that only reduces to 1 cm after about 10 minutes. Taste is primarily hoppy bitterness, with a slight fruitiness but not much else going on. This is bitter just for the sake of being bitter.

Bottle. Pours clear copper with 2-finger frothy off-white head. Nose is piney resiny sticky hops, tangerine, black pepper, caramel malt. Medium of palate heft and cmplexity, with resiny hops, some tropical fruit, an overall tart bitterness.

Bomber from Hayduke. We had this over facebook chat. An almost clear copper beer that sports a good sized off white fluffy head. It becomes rocky. Nice lace. Caramel is out front in the nose with lesser gentle fruit. The first sip brings graham crackers. Floral and pine flavors with light bitterness. Caramel. No fruit is tasted until I took a big gulp and then did get some. And then it grows with warming. Caramel malts grow, to. Resin. A different hop profile here is a little hard to pin down. A nice easy to drink IPA but not your typical west coast hop variety.

This was shared with Strykzone on Facebook Chat. It poured a very rich amber with a beige head. Moderate lacing. Nose is malts with citrus, flowers, pine, and little fruit. Medium body. Pine bitterness dominates and I had to coax the fruit to the surface. Long bitter finish. Easy drinking however.

Cloudy dull brown with bubbly head. Bitterness and butterness, muddy yeast and not much else. I used to like this brewery...a real disappointment.

Flask 65cl. Lätt kopparfärgad. Maltig och fruktig lukt. Smak av karamell, ananas. Inte så humlig som jag hoppades på.
