3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This is a pretty good IPA. Not as pungent on the schnoz or as "punchy" on the hop backend, but I had no complaints. Interesting brewing process, as describe in the descriptor. I’d like to let the brewer know that it’s got a decent hop presence, as it appears he was unaware of how hoppy it’ll be. I liked it. Would do business with again. A+++

Another solid Caldera IPA, strong hop profile with lots of spicy and fruity hop notes, amber body holds it all together, and has a long lasting flavor.

[My bottle (660ml) shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, jercraigs & mabel] Pours a deep orange-amber with a large never-ending frothy off-white head. Some lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel malt, resiny hops, floral notes and some fruit. Resiny and floral hops flavour along with caramel malt and a long moderate to big bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. Pretty good, not great.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A: Amber/Golden Straw Hue, Passes Some Light, Thin White Head Ring, Some Lacing
S: Oats, Grainy Malts, Mildly Piney
T: Grainy, Mildly Piney, Mild Bittering Hops
M: Average Carbonation, Medium Bodied, Mildly Drying, Mildly Bitter
Overall, just a kind of boring IPA with not much flair...certainly didnt deliver with the listed Simcoe and Centennial Hops.
