Kettle Series. When hopportunity knocks, answer it. This ale is Caldera’s rendition of answering the Pacific Northwest call for a @*! pile of Centennial hops with a big beer to back it up. Don’t get left out in the cold, open up and fill the void within you . . .

English style aroma with lots of sweet malt, earth and grass. The flavor is sweet to start with the hops coming on in the back. Very clean and crisp. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can, courtesy of deanso. Pours a clear orange beer with a dense creamy off white head on top. Aroma is rather malty and light citric, not much else. Flavour is a bit stale, light bitter and hoppy, long bitter aftertaste. Decent, not much else.

Can shared thanks to Deanso. Pours clear amber with a tan head. Aroma of light fruits, orange peel and big caramel malt. Flavour is moderate sweet and over moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Very average IPA, nothing special inside, nothing to get excited about, but it’s a decent brew to drink while enjoying the sun on your head.

Amber with some off-white head. Aroma is mostly fruity oxidized English notes, and it tastes of too much crystal malt, and too little hops for a beer of its name. $2/12oz ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Nose is.... unexpected, caramel, biscuit, fruity hops. Taste is malty, sweet, with a slight resin and citrus rind with herbal hops a malty sweet fruit sweet with resin bitter finish. I don’t like this beer very much at all. The sweet fruit notes are sickly and the malt to present.

355 ml can from Les Vignerons. Light amber, perfectly clear, with a big, fluffy and persistent off white head. Great lacings. Ugh, the aroma is far from being inviting or pleasent (at least to me): tons of caramel/crystal malts presence, soapy hop notes, cooked vegetables, toffee and some mild chestnut honey reminiscence. Slightly, just slightly better in the mouth, but taste pretty much follow suite. Short earthy bitterness, moderate to high rooty astringency, slick and almost cloying sweet mouthfeel. Average carbonation, medium body, slightly oily texture. Caldera beers don’t really travel that well, I’m afraid.
