22 oz bottle from Fred Meyer, N.Salem store. $5.19 Darker than the typical IPA..almost amber beerr with a large thick and frothy cream coloured head. Aroma seems balanced between resiny hop and nice toasty malts. Again the taste is balanced with nice caramell, toasted hops blancing a nice resinous hop bite..lasting after bitterness. Quite nice and thick for style on the palate. Overall i liked this one more than i thought i would.

Caramel and leafy hops waft from the glass. Amber/red pour. Big hops - flowery, citrus and a little pine with a good body. Drinks bigger than 7%. Pretty good.

Bottle from icky09. Copper pour. Piney hop aroma. Piney flavor, not overly bitter. Big malt backbone. Ok

Piney and sweet aroma. Piney resin and citrus hoppy taste. Pour from a bottle, an amber/copper color with off white head. A fair IPA but nothing to write home about.

Poured into a shaker. Amber colored with a cream colored head. Aroma is mostly floral hops. Flavor starts with a sweet sugary malty base and finishes with a resinous hoppy finish. Mouthfeel is lightly astringent with a medium body. Overall a nice IPA that’s close to IIPA territory.

Bomber from Bev4Less. Pours a dark amber, ample foam that hangs around and does a strange marshmallow puffy thing in 3-4 different spots on top. Aroma is nondescript IPA. Flavor is also pretty much nondescript IPA. A little heavier on the sweet and, slightly, smoky than many others in the style. There are also some interesting woody notes, but I figure that is some by-product of the malt and, maybe, some roastiness? Either way, decent beer, decent body, with a nice balanced mouthfeel and solid bitter finish that makes me wish I’d made it myself.

I have concerned, for some time now, that the craft beer brewers have began to run out of puns based on the word "hop" or "hops". This beer gives me hope that my fears are unfounded. At any rate, this is hoppy and very sweet. Also very heavy. We couldn’t believe it was only 6.8%.

Bottle. Dark amber with a full inch of head. Slightly funky strong hop aroma. Very strong woody hop flavour. Definite malt underpinning.

Cloudy orange golden pour thin soapy off white head light sticky lacing ... aroma of resiny and aged hops, chewy caramel malts, faint piney hops .... taste is the same chewy caramel, resiny and old faded piney hops .... also has a tea quality to it ... finishes with a light bitter hop .... if this was fresh it probably would have been good shame

Nose is piney hops, pours amber red clear with large off white head. Taste is slight malty sweetness with large amount of piney bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel. Reminds me of an amber ale with an aggressive hop profile. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
