Hazy bronze with a beige head. Fruity/grapefruit aroma, A strong malty beginning with a bitter finish. Well balanced, not that hoppy, but still really good.

(Can, 0.355 l - canned 06.05.2015, at Stadin Panimobaari, 20150821) The beer poured deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had pine, pine resin, caramel and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were pine, sweetness, malts, caramel and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, malty and bitter. A tasty malt-forward hoppy pale ale.

Kita (1495) - Koper, SLOVENIA - AUG 20, 2015
Can, 0.355l. Cloudy amber brown color with thick creamy tan-like head, good lacing and sparkling appearance. Aroma of citrus, caramel, dried fruits and some yeast. Taste starts with sweet caramel and toasted malt, following is resinous, fruity and grassy, mouthfeel is warming, while finish is heavy bitter. Medium to full body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Bold, strong and tastes like DIPA...

Poured from a can dated 6/19/2015. Aroma is rather malty with some moderate caramel, light toasted bread and cracker notes. Some grapefruit and pine resin. Pours a reddish, copper-brown with a small, fairly thick, tan head that steadily recedes to the edges. Moderate lacing and medium small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with some caramel, toasted bread and lighter cracker notes. Medium high bitterness. Medium grapefruit notes with lighter pine resin and hints of orange. Some light alcohol spice. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty disappointing IPA considering the hop pun in the name; it seems all the hops were used in the pun with none left for the beer. Way too malty without much hop flavor or aroma, just the bitterness.

12 Fl. Oz. Bottle. Poured kind of hazy, copper in color with a nice, foamy off white head; spotty lacing all over the glass. Aroma of hops, citrus fruit, caramel and malts. Taste is mostly hoppy, some citrus notes, some soapy notes and a nice malty backbone. Nice, solid beer. Enjoyable and very drinkable.

Pours nice amber, white foam. Aroma is really fruity, loads of over-ripen berries with some pine resin. Taste has also fruit mix with pine needles. Bitter and dry finish. Simple, fruity IPA. Nice.

Can from HomeBrewStuff. NW IPA through and through, big resinous piney hops in both aroma and taste. Beautiful pour with thick fluffy head and lots of clumpy lacing. Bitter, soapy finish.
