22oz bottle pours a reddy brown color with a frothy head. Strong toffee flavors and some citrus. The range of flavors just don't seem to come together.

Decent malty brew. Served with a nice sized, light tan head that slowly settled and a bit o’ lace. Color is a clear, dark cherry brown. Aroma is roast, malt, fruit. Flavor’s like nose, plus nutmeats. Body is superb and ditto carbonation. Finish is like flavor, not that long, but exceedingly drinkable. Killer brew!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 alexsdad06 (3043) - Ohio, USA - DEC 8, 2012
22 oz. bottle shared by Bunker. Pours a deep reddish brown amber color with a small disappearing off white head. The aroma is sweet caramel, candi sugar, dark ripe fruits that favor the blood oranges with a light herbal note. The flavor has some caramel and fruity orange citrus, but adds more herbal and earthy notes toward the finish. Not as thick as I would have guessed from the nose.

Bottle. Pours a very dark brown with very little head. Nose is a little sweet with some maltiness underneath. Taste is a little too sweet for my taste - almost with some caramel in there. It’s weird...
