Carbonation was a bit off. This is still a great porter. Would recommend to anyone.

Chocolate brown with a few, quickly disappearing tan bubbles. It smells like milk chocolate and bourbon. It’s deliciously sweet and roasty with just a hint of alcohol warmth. It’s on the lighter side of full mouthfeel. Finishes bittersweet. What a delicious brown brew! A sweet tribute.

Bottle. Pours a hazy dark brown with a creamy light brown head that dissipates to the edges and laces slightly. Aroma has lots of sweet chocolate with a bit of marshmallow, some sweet bourbon and a touch of roasted malts. Flavor has a sweet chocolate and marshmallow combination backed by bourbon and dark grains.

Bottle aged 1yr. Pours dark with a defined off white cream colored foam head. The aroma is chocolate filled, subtle bourbon, oak, sweet dark malts, vanilla, sugar sweetner, and lactose. In the flavor I picked on vanilla, soft bitterness, mild booze, minor bourbon, creamy lactose like taste, with a malty and chocolatey backbone. The finish is very smooth, drinkable, and had nice sweet notes. Overall this is a very good brew. I’d have this one again.

Bottle 0,65 ltr: Very dark brown colored brew with dry bitter taste and with hints of chocolate, Belgian bonbons, vanilla and great aftertaste of Bourboun. Inspired by the loss of their dog, sad inspiration but an great beer.

22 Oz bomber. Tasted on 8/3/14. Beer from Moore Liquor. The beer pours to a deep black color with a light tan head. The aroma has a slight chocolate & oak/bourbon scents. The taste is smooth & creamy with a nice chocolate upfront followed by a smooth bourbon finish. It finished very dry & smooth. Very easy to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours dark roasted unclear brownish black coffee. Aroma and flavor both bring rich sweet chocolate notes with more bitter flavors ending on the tongue. The body is creamy and goes down so smooth.
