Bottle at DBS. Smelled of coffee and chocolate. Tasted pretty much the same, but it had a little too much bitterness to it. Still pretty damn good.

Bottle from a trade with Trevor. Pours black with a beige head. The aroma is just huge chocolate forward. And it is a very bright and milky chocolate. Also some sweet bourbon, cocoa powder, kinder egg, vanilla and some nutty notes as well. The taste is also huge chocolate forward with some vanilla, weak oaky barrel character, cocoa powder and sweet nuts. Could use some more body due to it’s chocolate-forwardness but this was great!

bottle from trade with Trevor. Pours an almost see throughable black with a nice off white head. Aroma has chocolate. Milk chocolate, kinder egg, cocoa powder, vanilla, slight roast. Taste is fairly sweet with lots of oaky vanilla, but again the chocolate is really dominating. Milky cocoa powder chocolate. Hints of roasty bitterness in the end but most of all sweet milk chocolate. What’s not to like? Semifull body and medium low carbonation.

Fantastic. Really strong caramel/sweet cocoa notes with a year of age on it, reminiscent of Rolo candies. Delicious and easy to drink. Wish it wasn’t so pricey.

Poured a dark brown body with a tan head that had nice retention. Aroma had a strong chocolate presence initially. The was notes of molasses and mild oak. Flavor was mostly sweet. Kind of one note but I really enjoyed it. Smooth body and a full palate. I could have used a spoon. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Black with coffee-like head. Lots of sweet chocolate malts in the aroma and flavour. Roasted bitterness in the finish. Really smooth and creamy.

Bottle @ rescheduled weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Joes. Very dark brown color, medium sized light to medium brown head. Aroma is malts, vanilla, chocolate, sweetish, but unfortunately also quite some (Dutch) "hopjesvla". Taste malts, vanilla, sweet, chocolate, again unfortunately some "hopjesvla" which I happen to find disgusting. Alright, the hopjesvla isn’t dominant so it’s ok, but I’m not a big fan.

Bottle @ benzai. Very dark brown colour with a small beige head. Smells creme brulee, vanilla, sweet, dark chocolate, roasty, marsmellow. Lovely. Tastes sweet, vanilla, some iron but that doesn’t last too long, creme brulee, slightly caramel. Nice. Deep taste, soft carbo, full body. Too bad about the iron.

Bottle at Porch Nite with Raith, Brisbane, and Cattleman. Pours a thick creamy dark brown. Thin tan head. Aroma is lots of chocolate, oak, lots of vanilla, and sweet malt. Flavor is very chocolaty, oaky and lots of vanilla. Very creamy smooth mouthfeel. Slightly under carbonated. Vanilla was a bit too pronounced. But overall, a very nice beer.

Bottle shared by Menno, thanks! Loads of chocolate, "Kinder", milk and cacao. Sweet creamy flavor. Not my thing.
