Dec 11, 2007 12 oz. can, from John’s Marketplace in Portland. Pours mostly clear golden color with a largish white head that diminishes relatively quickly leaving stringy and spotty lace. Nice aroma featuring toasty malts, hints of toffee, and crisp floral hops. Flavor also features the toasty and somewhat grainy malts, floral hops, lemon zest and dust. Light-medium body and crispy carbonation. Pretty good.

Nov 20, 2007 Sweet piney citrus aroma, with some biscuit aromas. Pours blonde with a thin white head. Mild bitterness, dry, with biscuit/bready flavors, with some citrus, and sweet malty finish. There’s some spiciness towards the finish too. Alittle richer than most pale ales, very enjoyable.

Oct 5, 2007 Very refreshing and hoppy aroma. Hazy gold color with a white head that ringed. Medium bodied with creamy carbonation. It’s chewy. The flavor is pale malt completely overwhelmed by wonderful citrus and pine hoppy bitter. Maybe some floral hop. The finish is clean, crisp, and nicely bitter. This is really good stuff. Really. There’s light stone fruit in here, not just citrus.

A light golden yellow color witha thin head. This was a basic plae ale with some good malty and hoppy flavors. Easy to drink and had a good dry finish.

Aug 3, 2007 Can (from LS) Pours a bubbly golden yellow with a lively white head. Aroma is very hoppy - citrus & a touch of pine. Taste is quite citrusy, with some pine notes, some grain and a little of the malt. Somewhat bitter, but quite drinkable and refreshing.
