2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
From can, in Ashland OR. Drank it straight from the can, as canned beer should, so I have no idea what it looked like. Great Cascade crunch in the flavor, with a little bit of the harsh bitterness coming through at the end of every sip. Iíd prefer this a little drier, take the mash temp down a little bit or lower the precentage of crystal/dextrin malts in the grain bill. That said, itís very drinkable and enjoyable. A well-done pre-Amarillo era Pale ale.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a clear golden bronze, due to a cautious pour from the unfilitered can, with a large froth of clingy-lacing white head. Aroma of lightly sweet and toasty crystal malts with a good, lightly citrusy hop presence. First sip reveals a healthy dose of pale malt sugars accompanied by mildly bitter, grapefruity flavor hops with a balanced bittersweet finish. Palate is about average for an APA, with extreme drinkability. This would be the ideal tailgating beer for me.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Straw in color with a fluffy white head. I am getting Columbus hops in the nose and in the flavor, though only cascades are written on the can. Lots of funky sourness in the flavor as a balance to some fresh PacNW hops. Finishes quickly. Disappointing.

A fun can beer that tastes good and light. Soapy tastes fill my palate and then disappear. A can!! Haza!

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
can-thanks to Wolfs for this rare canned treat! orange with a bubbly small white accent. big grapefruit nose emits from my glass along with some light pine and metallic notes. metallic hops with a very faint light toasted malt presence. fairly big bitterness-dry and piney but pleasant. i think this beer was somewhat old, but maybe not. needless to say, a nice treat from a can. would go well on a long day soaking it up in the columbia river gorge. I wish there were more good canned beers.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled this beer out of a 12 oz silver can. Average pale ale aroma with normal hop characteristics. A dark golden pour with a nice head, the flavor of this beer is nice and tight, crisp and refreshing with a nice hoppy bite. Friendly mouthfeel that not harsh at all, but medium-bodied. Overall a nice beer out of a can. Canít believe I typed that...

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Any first impressions?
-A creamy but receding head laces atop the misty golden.
-An attractive, wooden C-hop perfume informs the tastebuds of what is to come without overdoing it.
-A level-headed wooden, resinous hoppiness dwells in a clean, supportive malt structure.
-The lean body offers an eminently drinkable experience.
What if you dig deeper?
-The firm but agreeable bitterness continues the wooden theme.
-Orangey, pink grapefruity, zesty hop fruitiness works well with the svelte body.
-Malt doesnít bring anything more than mouthfeel and light sweetness.
-Simplicity can indeed be a virtue, or so it seems with this well-crafted pale ale.
Can; no date.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Can courtesy of wohlfs. Surprised by the average on this for sure. Pours standard golden, but huge rocky-white head, bumps up appearance. Aroma nice balance between, citrus, pine and caramel malt. Flavor exactly like aroma indicates. Finishes dry, making you want to take another sip. My rating is a little weak as I practicly gunned this beer. If rated to style I would score even higher IMO. Would make a nice "summer drink all day" brew.

Canned. Clear golden, small head. Light grapefruity hop aroma. Dry and freshly hoppy with gentle, rounded mouthfeel. Medium bitterness. A well balanced, enjoyable little beer.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Can: Pink grapefruit and earthy hop nose; pours with a dense, creamy head; clear, deep golden, well carbononated body; bready malts and simple, sweet caramel up front, and a sharp hop finish that lingers a bit; somewhat light palate. Solid APA.
