Can. Pours deep gold with 2-finger creamy white head that sticks around awhile. Nose is pale malt, hopcitrus, fruit, peppery. Tastes hoppy, crisp, with pale malt, citrus, and peppery notes. This one was a decent canned pale ale.

Deep gold body with a frothy, slightly off white head. The aroma is light with some orange peels and banana peels. There is also some hints of hay. The taste has Some bitter orange peels with some woody pine resin in the finish. There is also a little bit of tree bark. There isn’t much in the way of the malt, maybe some crystal a little bit of toasted bread crust. Sharp and bitter, I think this is unbalanced, but would be ok for hopheads.

On tap at Old Town Pizza in Portland. Pours out a clear golden color with mild head and lacing. Aroma is very heavily grapefruit with some pine thrown in as well. Flavor is a nice balance between malt sweetness and a nice citrus hop kick. Another solid offering from Caldera.

Can. It pours an almost clear, a bit pale golden body, and a white head of moderate size. The aroma has piney, grassy hops balanced by malt and some beef-stock. Full-bodied and sweetish with flavors of citrus, fruits,a good dash of pinecones and a lasting bitterness. Lasting, bitter and hoppy finish. Easy to drink, really pleasant straight forward APA. Can, poured into a pint glass, good head, golden yellow color. Weak aroma of malt and light hops. Taste is the same...Light malts and hops. Light in texture, easy drinking...Nothing outstanding about it. But, overall I liked this beer, decent pale ale...
