Can. Pours a clear gold with an orange hue and a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a light pine note with a bit of grassiness and a touch of sweetness. Flavor starts with grain and grass but has more of a pine bite in the finish.

Caldera Pale Ale has a thick, creamy, off-white head, a hazy, orange-gold appearance, which clouds up even more when the bottom contents are swished and poured in, and quite heavy lacing left on the glass. The aroma is of rich, sugary, white bread, citrus, and hop oil. Taste is of all that, with some white bread crust, hefty, but not harsh, hop bitterness, and a slight caramel. Mouthfeel is medium, slick, and soft, and Caldera Pale Ale finishes dry, refreshing, and highly drinkable. Overall, this is a delicious beer. RJT

Canned: unk A: pours honey with near excellent clarity and a finger of off-white foam which falls rather quickly to a solid sheet of the same with strong spotty lacing. S: Some herbal hops, some citric hops, honey, sweet malts, smells a little faded. Nothing special. T: Strong bitterness with some vitamin flavors, a hint of lemon, some sweet malts with a hint of oxidation. M: Medium bodied with moderate carb and dry finish. O: Not a bad beer, tastes a little faded, but is quaffible. Serving type: can 10-10-2011

Big aromas of fruit and bread, resin and citrus marmalade. Pours a brilliant golden orange with a big white head and excellent lacing. Good mouthfeel and bitterness great balance with malt and hop character with a dry bitter finish. One of my new favorite beers.

It pours a nice gold color with a medium white head. The nose is a mix of florals, citrus and pine. The flavor was hop forward but not too dominate with a nice fruity flavor and pine needle notes. Light to medium body, easily drinkable. decent pale ale.

Can, 10C. Clear pale amber with a white head. Aroma of caramel, orange/ grapefruit, some nectarine. Sweet with caramel, stone and citrus fruit, moderately bitter finish. Malt is not terribly interesting but not oversweet, hops are nice, balance is very pleasant.

can. clear orange with large head. soft floral and yellow juicy fruit gum scent. flavor retains that fruitiness from the aroma with a good bit of bitterness. the munich malt provides a bit of character and the crystal malt has some residual sweetness for a nice, simple base. medium bodied with a touch too much carbonation. a well done classic PA with cascade in a can.

[Can (12oz).] Pours a deep yellow-gold with a large mostly-lasting fluffy off-white head. Some lacing on the glass. Aroma of fruity hops, slightly bready malt and some vegetal notes. Flavour is lightly sugary sweet along with light hops, fruit, pale malt and some mild pepper notes. Average to medium bodied. Not as good as I expected, just good, not great.
