Can from Bo Brooks’ Lighthouse Liquors, Baltimore. Golden in colour, with a decent, white, head. A well-balanced beer, with citrus fruits, juicy hops, a hint of pine and lengthy, bitter finish. Very good.

12oz can. Cooper with orange tint. Off white head. Earthy aroma. Taste is similar, bready, a little citrus. Not bad,but not the style I prefer.

"an aromatic well balanced pale ale. maybe a touch on the hoppy side, but i’ll never complain about that. blending/balance seems to be Calderas thing. this is a nice pale i’d buy more of if it were available here."

A hazed amber ale with a thick frothy light mocha head. In aroma, nice pungent floral hops with catty resinous notes, good biscuit malt, classic. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with grassy floral hops, resinous and smooth, light grapefruit, roasted grains, nice. Can from Seoul Korea, spring 2014.

UPDATED: OCT 3, 2014 355ml can. Pours clear light golden with two fingers of slightly off white head. Smells is malts, light sweet fruits (apricots), some citrus marmalade. Taste is similar with the hops muted, probably by the time. I guess a too old can to fully appreciate it. Not very pleasant bitter finish.

Pours a bright copper with a giant rocky head that leaves lots of lacing. Nose is bready malt, tropical fruit, citrus hops. Medium body, low carbonation, slightly slick. Taste is piney hop bitterness, faint soapy-ness. Finish is slightly astringent and floral. Meh.

Can @ home. Clear orange golden color, average to medium sized white head. Aroma is malts, hops, tropical fruits. Taste malts, hops, bitter, lightly tropical fruits. Decent body and carbonation. Pretty heavy bitterness for an APA. Still a nice hoppy beer though.

From can. Pours a clear amber with a medium whitish head. Aroma has citrus and caramel, but also a strong butterscotch. Taste is the same, notable bitterness along with the sweet malts. This is a year-old can from a purchase last summer, but I had the same impressions then. I’d be willing to try this again, but won’t go out of my way to buy it.
