boFNjackson (482), Portland, Oregon, USA Apr 23, 2008 Can... Poured a pale orange with a thin white head. Aroma of buttery grains and grassy hops. Well carbonated, and very hoppy flavors right up front. Very herbal with tons of citrus and floral flavors, but also vegies and grains. Caramel malt lend to a
hop finish. This is what a pale ale should be!
ABUSEDGOAT (1868), California, USA Jul 20, 2008 Amber orange colored. Aroma is grapefruit, citrus, light diacetyl. Medium bodied, moderate to light bitterness. Drinkable but doesn’t have the oomph. jake65 (1185), Meridian, Idaho, USA Jul 8, 2008 Can! Pours a dark golden color with a sizeable sandy colored head. Thick, sticky lacing. Nose is mildy hoppy with florals a sort of a husky malt. Tastes of dirty floral hops, a bit grassey, and some more husky malt. Has a different malty feel to it. Reminds me of an organic brew, but I can’t put my finger on it. ratman197 (2190), Arvada, Colorado, USA Jul 6, 2008 Can poured a clear gold with a lasting off white head. Aromas of carmel, lemon, light orange and a hint of pine. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth.
