355ml can from Great Grog. Clear golden amber colour, reasonable head. Hoppy aroma. Vanilla coconut flavour, citrus fruit aftertaste. Possibly the best canned beer I have ever had.
4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 dlbrockmiller (14) - Oregon, USA - JAN 20, 2012
Another excellent beer from Caldara. Pours a golden amber with the slightest haze and a nice two finger lightly colored head. You can really smell the signature cascade aroma - citrusy with a touch of pine. It has a nice citrus hop flavors supported by a good malt backbone. There is a slight bitterness in the finish, though it doesn’t linger too long. Very nice and incredibly drinkable.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 nearbeer (2656) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 23, 2009
12 oz. can. Clear, golden-amber with a lasting ring of foam. Nice sudsy lace. Crisp resin and sweetish grapefruit aroma. Flavor is the same combination in the best balance for drinkability that i have had in an APA. light-medium body is smoothly carbonated, but lightly tingly with hops. Surprisingly simple and pure; an excellent session ale.
4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 corby112 (1904) - philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAY 8, 2011
Pours a hazy dark golden yellow color with a frothy three finger off-white head that has excellent retention, only slowly fading into a lasting cap. The glass is left coated with large rings and chunks of soapy lacing.
Earthy aroma with floral, piny hops as well hints of grass and straw all balanced by a sweet citrus presence. Pale malt underneath.
Medium bodied with a crisp hop bite up front that is slightly dry and not overly bitter. Earthy and floral with hints of pine needle balanced by some sweet citrus, especially grapefruit and orange peel. Slightly creamy presence with hints of earthy grass and straw as well as a pale malt backbone that balances things out nicely. Fuller bodied and more complex than the average pale ale while remaining light and very quaffable.

Outstanding, despite the can. Better very cold, very hoppy, just great from start to finish.

12 oz can into lager glass. Aromas of grapefruit, citrus powder drink, marmalade. Pours a clear gold hue with a nice head and sticky lace. Taste is just slightly sweet at first but remains bitter throughout the rest of the drink. A little grainy. Fairly hoppy with just a small malt presence. Highly carbonated and slightly oily. Nice long flavorful finish. A well-made tasty APA.

A really great Pale Ale. Nice to crack one of these out on the trail, rather than the usual cheap canned brew. Initially pretty hoppy, but the effect fades the more you drink. Overall a very pleasant and enjoyable Pale Ale, bonus points for being in cans!
4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Aubrey (3192) - Bellingham, Washington, USA - APR 18, 2011
Tasty beer. Might be considered by some to be an IPA. Has some great aromas and a spicy nip reminiscent of pine, citrus and pepper. Actually made me sneeze after my first whiff and sip. Solid malt backbone with the perfect amount of caramel sweetness. Light toast, too. Balanced and full of flavor with some nice hoppy aromas. Dryish finish with moderate bitterness. Tasty pale ale.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 joeyplush (555) - Garnet Valley, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 1, 2009
Aroma of hops balanced with sweet malt. Slightly cloudy copper color with a white head and good lacing. Flavor is sweet malt balanced with fruity hops and fresh citrus. Very well balanced beer. Nice lingering hoppy character on the palate.

Can. Pours a light to medium amber color wiht an initially big, rocky white head. Great lacing left behind. Aroma is very pleasant, lots of citrusy, flowery stuff in the nose, much like herbal tea. Lighter medium bodied, amply carbonated although not distracting. Big hop bitterness barely balanced by malt. Somewhat drying, pleasant pale ale. Well done and like Oskar Blues, proves that good beer can come from a can.
