Clear dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to light heavy malty, roasted, burnt, coffee. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft.

Draft. A deep red beer with a lazing tan head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and roasted malt. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of roated malt, which lends the beer a slight acidity.

Canned@SBWF2008. Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malts, mild vanillaish notes as well as wood. Flavour is the same in an excellent balance. Aftertaste leaves wood, roasted malts and some nice vanilla and mild notes of chocolate.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2008 Canned at Stockholm Beer Festival. Very dark brown, small head. Concentrated aroma of tobacco and coffee. Medium dry with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Plenty of coffee and chocolate. Salty finish. Rich and elegant.

Draught @ Horse Brass Pub, Portland. Pours a black color with a small off-white head. Has a rosted malty chocolate and coffee aroma. Roasted malty chocoalte and coffee flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish.

A little toasty in the nose with hints of chocolate. Chestnut colour. Clean taste, lightly smokey with dry, full grain character. Pretty simple example.
