Bottle saved from March. Pours a dark brown with a moderately thick tan head. Nose has roasted malt, toasted coconut and milk chocolate. Palate...nicely frothy with malty goodness up front and then tons of coconut and chocolate. Soooo roasty and sweet malty goodness. Very enjoyable!

Pours a rich black with small tan head. Smells is chocolate, coffee, and coconut. Aroma is very sweet. Taste is initially chocolate with some brown sugar, bread, and maybe caramel. The coconut comes in big and lingers. Lightly carbonated. It’s not something I’d drink all the time, but it is a nice, sweet beer.

65 cl bottle.
Pours black color with a small beige head. Very sweet chocolaty aroma with hints of coconut and cocoa, some subtle marshmallow and spice notes too. Flavor is sweet chocolaty, some milky notes, coconut, dry bready notes, cocoa, roasted malts and faint hop notes. Palate is somewhat acidic but only a little, otherwise quite creamy and full. Reminds me of some sweet Southern Tier brews. Nice.

Great smells of cold chocolate and light coconut. Nice rich the bitter is mellowed by the coconut with out getting too sweet. Leaves a lasting coconut flavor behind.

Bomber. Aroma is bready, chocolate, minerally, raisins, licorice, faint coconut if I search for it. Pours black with red highlights and a long-lasting beige head and some lace. Taste is sweet, but not even close to cloying as I was led to believe. It’s also roasty, tannic, lightly tart; the chocolate is fairly obvious, and the coconut starts out as just a hint, but it builds on the tongue until it’s nearly as obvious. Still, this is not chocolate coconut overkill. They used some restraint here. Not sure if that’s good or bad. It’s a tasty beer, nonetheless.
